Well aside from sensationalist identity tactics, which I agree people eat up and Trump has an edge in -- he can lose if they ask him policy questions. Like "how are you going to pay for those tax cuts without running a massive deficit?"

Yeah this. Make the debates about policy... But Trump just has to be loud and offensive and Trumploduytes will claim victory.

"your husband was getting BJ's from secretaries in the White House while you were his wife........and you stayed with him"......booom

A point she's faced for the last 20 years.......oooooohh snap what an incredible idea you had there!

These debates are not for the hardcore supporters who happen to make up a large portion of this forum. There are those who sleep and breathe politics who will not budge from their position, but there are also average folk who don't hang off of every detail in a race who will tune in and will be swayed by simple things. It doesn't favour Trump to be Trump in these talks, it favours him to be presidential.

All I know is it's going to be a long time for Hillary to stay standing. Can she even stay standing that long? We shall see!!

It's not going to be Trump Vs Hillary, It's going to be Trump vs Hillary, the moderators, and probably a planted crowd. Trump needs to hit her hard, she won't be use to that so hopefully he comes out swinging like he did with Jeb and she breaks.

I don't think Trump can lose, simply because expectations are so low. As long as he doesn't literally shit himself, pundits will say he did OK. He's spectacularly bad on policy. He gives Palin-level bad answers on a daily basis. So he could have one of those moments, but if he doesn't, he'll have 'won'.

Hillary supporters are immune to her lying, flip flopping, having no morals or values, screeching unbearably while pandering, fucking up the Middle East, taking cash under the table and revealing the depth of her own soullessness, so of course there's no possible outcome of a debate that they would see as a loss..

Fixed it for you.

Fixed it for you.

Hardly. You only have to look around this forum to see the likely Hilary voters are more than aware of her faults. In fact it's a hilarious example of how immune to reality they are, that Trump supporters will attack Hilary for lying and flip flopping, while praising Trump for "straight talk".

Mr. Trump, explain to the audience just how crooked Hillary Clinton is. You have 15 minutes.

*this is what Trumpsters think presidential debates are like*

This is gonna be the most entertaining shit on TV possibly ever.

That crazy bitch has probably been harassing that guy for weeks lol.

Ya, supporting his candidate is "messing with you". Fascist nutter.

Without hearing the other guy's side of the story, I'm not going to trust a word she said.
Is it actually illegal to flip someone off in the US though?

People forget how quick witted Hillary is. You can view many of her "debates" with various people, and she's very well versed in these types of talks.
I hate to be the guy who denies every positive quality of the candidate I don't like, but I actually don't think Hillary is particularly quick-witted. I think she's very hard-working and does a lot of research, but those aren't actually signs of a quick wit. Insightful comments, clever comebacks and unrehearsed thinking, wittiness and so on are signs of a quick-wit. I find it very hard to think of examples of her having any of those. Obama ran circles around her in 2008. I actually noted that the "basket of deplorables" bit was the first genuinely funny thing I can ever remember her saying, and that might have been largely accidental due to the way she was looking off-screen while she said it.

That seems like an easy question, you cut spending. Trump has his plan to do so and he'd just talk about that. Why do you think it would be difficult?

Oh, apologies for semantics, but the government doesn't "pay" for tax cuts. I'm not blaming it on you, politicians say that all the time, but it's a very cheap trick, and in any normal course of discussion, it's exposed as ridiculous. Imagine if I wondered aloud how I was going to "pay" for losing my income from my job?

no. The cop seemed reasonable--basically don't escalate it into an altercation and don't impede traffic to give the finger . Decent tax dollars for the call, but a waste of a human being (the lady). It could easily turn into disturbing the peace if there is at least one person's peace that was....disturbed.

I heard that Hillary has vascular dementia..if this rumor is true, an harsh debate with Trump will be interesting

So, deflection from a policy discussion, and hope that Shillary loses her marbles or croaks on stage is the Trump strategy.

Ben is fucked. Mother of the year had to pull over and hold up traffic just to give some stranger the finger for not agreeing with her political views and shout "motherfucker" into a vlog. My mom is pretty left, but thank fucking God she's got some sense of propriety and will even admit when she's wrong. I can't imagine having my moral compass set by this horrific cunt.

I think time is on Hillary's side. The longer the debate goes on, health issues notwithstanding, the more it benefits Hillary. Trump shines in short bursts where he can say wild things and leave the crowd wanting more, but after a couple of hours he gets old. The best chance Trump has is that the debates take a physical toll on Illary, because I think he loses the war of attrition here. While Trump is no slouch, she is also very fierce. She's got hot sauce in her bag swag... Gowdy, who made Comey look foolish, couldn't bury Hillary. That's telling.

gowdy isn't trump .. trump will say shit no one else will .. trump can destroy hillary IF he wants to .. she has so much baggage that she has to pray her opponent doesn't bring any of it up .. the thing is though, I think trump might might take it easy on clinton possibly trying to avoid offending women .. which is bullshit imo .. he needs to go after her and not bail her out like cuck bernie did 'i'm sick of her emails' smh .. this will be the last and only shot to do it pretty much ever in his life .. and it could decide the election .. very disappointing if he takes it easy on her .. don't do it trump !

This was my line of thinking as well. On top of the unlimited amount of negative things he can bring up, there's also nothing deterring him from bringing up her failing health. It's gonna get ugly - fast

didn't even think of her actual health .. yes he needs to bring that up and make the public aware of it and keep it on their minds .. bring up the video and how she collapsed .. 'she is physically unfit to be president' .. this is for the presidency and he won't get another shot ... no point in holding back
