Perhaps because ISIS is not Syria? The Syrian problem is largely our currently leadership (pushed strongly by Hillary) is fixated on deposing dictators like Ghadafi and Saddam. Which will further destabilize the region FYI. ISIS was created out of the power vacuum in Iraq. Syria is a complicated combination of factions, the most powerful of which we are actually fighting against (Russia and Assad) via proxy support of "moderate" rebels. Basically a shitshow we don't need.

Do I think Trump with defeat ISIS in 30 days? Hardly. It is a case of bad and worse. Worse being Hillary. Much worse. Like so much more worse I see the escalation of Syria and tension with Russia within 30 days of her taking office kind of worse. I see Trump as the kind of guy that would sit down with Putin and say, "Syria is your show, bro. We are out. We are gonna go back to Iraq and fuck this shit up 3rd ID style."
