lol at him starting a revolution. Have you already forgotten about the tea party already? The fact of the matter is that right wingers arent brave enough to start anything. They are all cowards, why else are they so scared of losing their guns?

What a stupid post

What does Trump stand for? Tell me specifics. Not 'he wants to make America great again'. What does he actually stand for?

This needs to be said again and again until it sinks in, I think.
I have trouble thinking that electing someone as a head of state without them having held public office in some form is a really bad idea .

Having said that the small percentage of Trump supporters who just want a big shake up of the status quo have a point and electing someone from outside the " system " to do that makes some sense .i just think Trump is the wrong person to do that .

You can't be serious. The Democrat party ceases to exist without an uneducated underclass of welfare queens voting with one hand and the other extended for the dole.

Regardless of what you heard on CNN.

Never underestimate how many stupid uneducated people there are in this country. That's why the GOP consistently cut funding for education, and don't want public college. You can't have a nation of well informed and educated citizens; where will the GOP get voters?!

I still think if it was up to Trump he would rather lose than win this election. Its much better for him to lose, says it was rigged and start conservative TV channel. With that he would be even more influential player in the conservative movement and can change the party for good. If he wins, he will take over with dems who will make it hard for him and a lot of the republican politician will distance themselves from him after day in day out negative media press.

The only revolution that I see is he illustrated that the major parties need to figure out how to keep unqualified, unhinged, racist demagogues from winning the primary. The GOP has a lot of soul searching to do.

I wouldn't say Trump won, I'd say Hilary lost. The health thing is just insurmountable. No one is electing a president who's on death's door.

Random rant:

It's a shame that those with dumb ass degrees are somehow considered "educated" when they couldn't build a fucking dog house if their life depended on it.
Gender studies
French
Music
Drama
Social Welfare
Theater
Afro American Studies
Scandinavian Studies

Meanwhile the people in Biomedical Engineering who about died getting their degree. Well... they don't end up working at a bong store. But their education is considered equal to the Dance major. 1 for 1.
That's kind of bullshit. I've worked with tons of people who are great at their jobs and got degrees in the arts. In fact, last I read most people don't work in fields of their study. Smart people make good employees regardless of what they studied and most people learn their craft on the job.

Even a profession like mine (accounting) is learned on the job, and that is probably one of the most practical majors in terms of getting you ready for your career. Most of what you learn in school and studying for the CPA exam is never used in your career.

What if the base is unhinged, racist demagogues themselves? What does it say when the average working conservative person look at that field and say I have more in common with Trump as person than these other guys. He won on personality. The guy most voters can identify with as a person

Like any good profiteer he cashed in on something, he didn't start shit.

This needs to be said again and again until it sinks in, I think.

The moderate Republicans used to snicker and strategize behind closed doors over racial dog whistles, cultivating and giving voice to misplaced anger and racial identity... went on for decades and it was never funny or ok with the rest of us living in the mainstream. Now it's not funny to the more sentient Republican - not funny or a smart campaign tactic or sneaky politics ... it's a freaking monster and the hydra that is race politics should have been killed off long ago but instead they just blamed the Democrats because they dared to be inclusive towards people of color and favored government programs that give aid to those poeple too. Turns out a lot of angry white people that come calling to that dog whistle like populist messages too, they just don't like the idea that typical Democrat messages include money going to people with a skin tone other than their color... so yeah - Democrats fault.

And now we sit here complaining about something the press should have put to bed six months ago - emails and trustworthiness, despite the fact that HRC for all of her faults has actually released and easily provided more transparency than Trump by a country mile on so many issues and admitted screwing up. Yet we just couldn't let it go because we had to assassinate her character and make it a horse race so that the fascist Putin-admiring, intellectual rejecting dilettante, could actually appear more palatable to the undecideds and moderates and indies out there.

The press makes me sick. They're lazy, full of predisposed agendas and it's just not funny, or savvy, or even anymore. From the emails, to the Clinton Foundation, to the pneumonia, to the drinking of water during speeches - it's disgusting .... the press doesn't even talk about policy or plans anymore.

Do you guys remember when Obama and Romney actually campaigned on various policies that were intricate and well-defined and distinct? And the press actually vetted those policies and people thought about those policies and cared about those policies?

Trump barely has any policies other than the wall. Clinton has a plethora of policies on her website and would most likely love to talk about them rather than making it a mudslinging contest. And my favorite part is that at least once a day the press opines as to why this has become a cesspool of name calling and trivial issues.

And I just keep coming back to 2000 when Gore, a completely competent, qualified and smart got completely destroyed by the gutless media for being stiff and monotone. Yet Bush was a complete bumbling idiot who was selling very little more than just a big tax cut for the rich.

This whole race just has that same feel all over again where one candidate gets away with basically outright lying to everyone and the other candidate who is obviously smart and understands the issues and has plans for then and who continually tells the truth gets painted in a completely bullshit way so that the likeability factor seizes enough voters.

Actually it's a terrible idea. This notion that literally anyone is fit and qualified to enter into politics is quite insulting to the general public whether they know it or not. You don't just become president or governor and have every meeting or policy or decision set up and then made for you. That's GWB to a tee and he had already been a governor. If you look closely at his presidency and the way he dealt with things by the end, it's clear he was overwhelmed at first thinking that he could sit back and not really govern.

It's like bringing in a marketing exec to run a finance firm. Sure they have a glossy sheen to them but when it comes time to actually implement a strategy talk to the right people make the right negotiations sign the write checks and make sure that the books are balanced they're up shits creek. And this is all not to mention that when you govern you should at least have some grasp of the law which is also why many lawyers and up entering politics because they actually get what governing and law and all the branches of the government are about and why they exist.

Just because someone is technically an outsider when they start to run doesn't mean that they're not an insider by the time they get elected. Of course they're an insider by the time they get elected -that's the only way that you gather enough money to do so. What Bernie was trying to do would have been an absolute miracle and bless his heart for trying.

If you've noticed by now, Trump isn't proposing virtually anything other tax cuts, staunch isolationism and a huge wall... that's all remarkably out of touch with the modern world. The US staying out of shit is exactly how we ended up with the tragedy that is Syria, which will be remember for hundreds of years from now.

The last thing that we need are outsiders with antiquated views and no fucking feel for how the world works. You don't hire a fucking disc jockey to come in and negotiate an investment banking deal.

Our politicians got us $23,000,000,000,000 in debt. I'm ready to try something else. It's clear that Trump is either going to solve the problems, or completely fuck everything up to a point where the problems finally have to be solved. Either way, the problems get solved.

Politicians bring, at best, kicking the can to problems. Trump, whether intentionally or unintentionally, whether creatively or destructively, brings solutions.

What a stupid post
The left has owned the white house for 4 of the last 6 elections and will win the next one easily. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the right wing cowards are done. Time for them to reform.

It really is. Americans are stupid enough to take oz seriously and buy his shit products. He and trump are very alike.

Trump or Oz? At one point trump was hustling vitamins and piss tests. Not kidding.
All true. Again, very smart.
