Have you seen much of Arenado?
He's great, but Trout has a much longer track record of being elite. Trout's the better hitter, you could say Arenado is the better defender at third.

Bryce is great, they're certainly in the same discussion. I give the nod to Arenado for his incredible 3rd base skills. He's won the gold glove every years he's been in the league. Remarkable feat, considering the enormous talent at that position in this generation.
I'd say 1) Nolan 2) Harper.
"Random May baseball game" where history is made.
Casual fan is casual confirmed.
Mike Trout and Harper are 1A and 1B for me.

I'd give Trout the nod to hitting, but defending isn't even close. It's Nolan by a mile. Trout is a good center fielder, but he is certainly no Jim Edmonds. Arenado, however, has been an absolute phenom at 3rd base since the day he entered the league.
I wanna see how Arenado does over the course of a full season before we start declaring him better than Trout or Harper. He's certainly had a fantastic 33 game stretch to begin the season, but I think by the end there'll be a definite gap between Trout/Harper and everyone else.
Machado, Donaldson, it's arguable if he's even the best third baseman.
lol not the first time it's happened with Red. Guess I shouldn't have shitposted about the record, people got defensive. Not at all, just never seen you go at someone i suppose. I get along with Red so i don't know.
There was only one game of significance tonight, only one that'll be remembered in the future, and it was Scherzer destroying a very talented Tigers lineup. Anyway, I'd venture to say the lineups Clemens (x2) and Wood got their 20 Ks from weren't anywhere near as talented as the Tigers. You really seem to not be getting this. Its a random night in May and im watching my team play(just like im sure everyone who is a fan of baseball is). As soon as i heard about Scherzer flirting with the record i tuned in. Not sure how that makes me or anyone here any less of a fan for not knowing about it.
I see my boy Based Pomeranz was dealing again.
Oh yesssMachado is raking this year
