The Royals aren't hitting, especially with RISP. That's been their big issue this season.

As of late, you're right. Starting pitching is never going to be a strength of theirs. Defense, bullpen, timely hitting. That's their MO and how they have to win. It's a fine line, and when it's not going right then it looks really, really bad.

How are the Cards playing? I check the standings so I know their record but I haven't really caught any games on tv except the occasional highlight.

Kazmir is now officially a 'crafty' lefty. He looks afraid to throw strikes.
 
Kazmir is terrible. Think he should get replaced in the rotation already.
 
At the time I thought Kazmir was a decent signing for the Doyers.
