Rofl at moving trumbo for CLEVENGER. I know trumbo isn't a world beater but I'd take a 35+ hr potential guy over a backup journeyman catcher.
Not that I agree with the move but - Seattle was going to non-tender Trumbo. They didn't think he was worth 8 or 10M whatever it was. The trade was basically giving him away for a backup catcher right before they cut him

Zunino has a .400 avg and 6 HR's thru the first 12 games in AAA Tacoma, no clue why he can't figure it out in the bigs, raked at college and all minor league levels.

Lol yep Trumbo is massively flawed but he's got tremendous power. Even if he hits 250/290/530 with 30 homers that's better than a guy who hits 190

He's still what 24 or 25. He still might figure it out. Grandal raked everywhere and has just finally figured it out at age 27/28

He just turned 25, I played AAU ball with him as a teen, good guy.

Roids.

When do you think the dodgers will start building up the innings for Urias? Seems like he is still getting pulled after 5. Just babying him or keeping him fresh for a late season promotion?

Colabello is a scrub. He was getting DFA'd by the end of May anyways

When Gays fans were saying they potentially had seven 20 + HR guys, was Horrabello one of them?

Jose
EE
Tulo
Donaldson
Martin
Saunders
Smoak

Colabello had the highest BABIP since Ty Cobb or something last year lmao, he was always a career can but people liked him because he's a cool guy.

I wonder if that's why he's been utter garbage so far -- he's had this hanging over his head for half of spring training and all of April.

As for his BABIP -- 7th highest since 1900 with a minimum of 350 plate appearances (keeping in mind the people above him are mainly Babe Ruth / Ty Cobb from the 1910s-1920s.

Still sucks to see him gone for 80 games, but he was going to regress from last year pretty much no matter what.

Carlos Beltran is a statue out in RF. Brian Cashman is a really nice guy but he has a bizarre fascination with acquiring old geezers.

Mike MooseTacos with another bomb to center field. That's 2 in two days and now has 6HRs for the year.

Sidenote: Love the Royals' gold lettered uniform/hats/batting helmets. Shut up and take my money.

I don't think he's an option this year. He only pitched like 70 innings last year( that midseason eye surgery set his development back a year).

With McCarthy n Ryu due back midseason and Lee, DeLeon and Cotton probably all options before Urias.

I think he gets every shot to make the club next spring at age 20.
