BJ Upton is having a come back year, playing great defense too. Go Padres

No hitter watch in Cincinnati.

Edit: No hitter for Jake

Fucking lol at the Reds. 16-0 and getting no hit.

How the fuck do you lose 16-0 at home and get no hit in a hitters ball park rofl. What kind of pseudo team are the reds fielding out there.

Somehow they are .500. 0-4 versus the cubs though.

Not like I've seen a lot of the Curbs this year, just a lot of snippets and highlights.

Man, they look tough.

Look at their batting averages; Rizzo Heyward, and Russell are all at .200 or below. Role players are stepping up, the pitching has been terrific, and they walk a ton. And fowler has been a maniac

So, is it common knowledge that Buck Martinez is a complete and utter fuck up of a broadcaster?

Just tonight, he called a one out double, a "lead off double", and referred to Josh Donaldson as "Josh Macdonald". He makes these kinds of mistakes every single game. Literally. Every. Single. Game.

I think he may be suffering from some early signs of dementia. Poor Pat Tabler has to grit his teeth, and subtly correct him all the time. Like tonight, after Buck made the "Macdonald" call, he jumped in, and started his sentence with a stern "Donaldson". It's hilarious. I'm surprised there isn't a Youtube compilation out there of all the calls Martinez has fucked up. Maybe it's just impossible to make one, because it would be an infinite loop.

Shows you how far a signature catchphrase like "Swing and a drive!" can take you in the broadcast game. My fuck, is he terrible.

I like when Shulman is in there. Buck talks less and Tabbie rarely has anything useful to say anyways.

Keuchal needs to shape the fuck up

I can overlook mistakes as long they have a good voice and energy

He's got an alright voice, but man, the fuck ups really start to add up after a while. He cites false statistics all the time(sometimes from the previous fucking inning), gets the count wrong, forgets how many outs there are, etc, etc. What really bothers me though, is that he NEVER corrects himself. There's usually just some dead air from Tabler being frozen with confusion, and then they just continue on like he didn't just confuse the left fielder with the catcher on the other team.

He rustles me. He's such a blunderfuck.

We play a drinking game. Take a drink every time Tabbie references how the jays hitters run up pitch counts. Great to see a pitcher with 60 pitchers in the 3rd, when you kn ow .... we lose.

Funny how OS then spun Clevenger for Trumbo. Great trades all around

Rofl at moving trumbo for CLEVENGER. I know trumbo isn't a world beater but I'd take a 35+ hr potential guy over a backup journeyman catcher.
