Dax Cameron aka Kenny Lofton Jr. Is going to put himself in the top 30 after this season
Cameron was drafted way under slot IMO

Espinoza 5IP 2H 0BB 4K
Owens 6IP 1H 3BB 8K

Salem was quiet

Jharel Cotton has been absolutely dominant for the Dodgers for over a year in a half.

Great peripheral numbers and really solid stuff. Dodgers pitching depth is nuts but with DeLeon and Urias on innings limits he may be next up after Zach Lee

David Dahl with 2 HR already this season. Hopefully he can put in a full seasons work, dude can hit the top 20 next list, easily. He's had some shitty breaks, with the torn hamstring and lacerated kidney.

Phil Bickford 4.2 IP 10 SO 1BB 1H 3R

Good start for the Giants 1st round pick pitching in his first single A start.

I love the MiLB First Pitch app. Definitely makes following all of these guys much easier.

Devers' first dinger of the year

Phil Bickford 4.2 IP 10 SO 1BB 1H 3R

Good start for the Giants 1st round pick pitching in his first single A start.
Hopefully they keep letting him smoke the pot. Dude has a hell of an arm, and he and DeGrom can see who can grow their hair out longer.

Urias 5IP 4H 0BB 9K

Just your typical 19 year old dominating guys half a decade older than him.

Sucks he missed so much time last year with the eye surgery cause he's mlb ready besides the innings limit

Sam Travis had his first Triple A HR yesterday.

Also Benintendi went 2 for 3 with a 3B and 3 RBI and Devers was 2 for 4 with a double. Also Brian Johnson was meh in his first start since coming back from the nerve issue in his elbow that ended his year last season. His line was 4 IP 5H 1BB 4K.

Roeneis Elias is starting for Pawtucket tonight. Owens, Johnson and Elias should be competing for Buchholz's job when he gets hurt, or even Joe Kelly's if he continues to suck.

Cameron was drafted way under slot IMO

Cant believe the cangels skipped him, at least the dude they drafted is doing work. Lets see how they fuck that one up.

Hope this guy makes it to the majors because his name is awesome

Opening day. Henry Owens starting for Pawtucket, Espinoza pitching tomorrow for Greenville(Low A).

MILB Tv not showing the Salem(High A) games is garbage. Moncada, Devers and Benintendi all mashing in the same line up.
Benintendi just hit his 4th triple this year.

David Dahl just hit his 4th HR of the year. This is going to be the year he busts out, if he can stay healthy all year.

Guess I should correct myself, I watched part of that start and he chopped his hair off.

Didn't realize he was 20 already.. guess he spent a year in college.

Benintendi just hit his 4th triple this year.

Yea Benintendi is killing it, he should be in Double A by Summer. Moncada should also be in Portland around the same time frame.

Moncada seems bored in High A, literally steals every time he gets on base(6 SB 3 CS in 6 games).

Edit: Also Henry Owens line today 6 IP 2H 1ER 4 BB 6K. Hes only allowed 3 hits in 12 innings and has struck out 14, control still an issue though.

Grant Holmes 6ip 0er 7ks

Dodgers pitching prospects living up to hype. Urias, Lee and Holmes have been dominant. Can't wait for De Leon's debut

Sam Travis went deep again tonight.

Also Moncada had a nice 2 run triple

Salem was finally on Milb.tv tonight, sucks the home games aren't broadcasted

Oh look Bregman made the BA hot list the first week of the season. As if the Astros don't have enough young talent in their system. I have a feeling AJ Reed and Moran LOOM

9. Alex Bregman, ss, Astros

image: http://cdn.baseballamerica.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/HoustonAstros.png

Team: Double-A Corpus Christi (Texas)
Age: 22
Why He’s Here: .333/.419/.667 (9-for-27), 8 R, 3 HR, 5 RBIs, 3 BB, 2 SO, 0-for-1 SB

The Scoop: As if the Astros needed another star middle infielder! Bregman’s week included more extra-base hits (three) than strikeouts (two), and if he can keep that ratio near 1-to-1, then we could be in store for a Dustin Pedroia-type season. The second overall pick in the 2015 draft won’t keep up this home run pace, but look for him to gap the ball often enough to keep pitchers honest. (M.E.)

I would be happy with the Cards trading any of their pitching prospects not named Reyes for him. Cards need a SS for the future, and could get the Stros some arms back after that Giles trade.
