I'm sure that I'll have to keep bumping this one but whatevs... I'm sure there's a few of you guys around here that follow the farm @Spliff

@Revolver Dat Dodgers pitching talent

I've seen a lot of debates over who's the best in the Red Sox system. It's a great problem to have.. Moncada or Devers. Personally, I think Devers has more upside based off of age and position, although Devers probably won't stick in the infield. Benintendi may jump past both of them this year though.

Baseball America's mock draft 1.0. It's a bit early, so should be taken with a grain of salt

I saw Riley Pint pitch at the UA All American game this year. Crazy smooth delivery.. had some control issues.. he was hitting 99 on the gun regularly. Supposedly as the HS season went on there were some tweaks made to his delivery and the control has gotten much better. Plus it has pushed that fastball into triple digits.

Devers is a future 1st baseman/DH. I think Moncada has/will have more position versatility and is a switch hitter. I think Moncada is the better prospect and most ranking systems will agree with that, with the exception of Keith Law who is higher on Devers.

I think Benintendi and Moncada will both fly through the system and be ready to make an impact in 2017.

The guy you didnt mention is Anderson Espinoza who im most interested in. Sox have been churning out position players like nobody between Bogaerts, Betts, Bradley, Shaw, Benintendi, Moncada, Devers, Travis etc but they havent really gotten the young pitching. Espinoza just turned 18 and sits 94-97 with a very good curve. Change up needs work but everything ive seen/heard from the has impressed me.

I got Milb.tv for the first time 2 years ago to watch Betts in Double A Portland and again last year mostly to watch ERod, Owens and Brian Johnson, not sure if im gonna get it this year though. I probably will end up getting it though, so much better then just digging through box scores. Plus its kinda cool to watch guys come up before they were stars.

Trades are unavoidable for them, they already had to dump Margot. I agree with Espinoza.

Margot and Guerra were both traded away because they had a million outfielders and obviously Bogaerts is gonna be the SS for a long time. I dont think Devers, Moncada or Benintendi will be blocked at the major league level. Ortiz is about to be gone and by the time Devers is ready, Canley will be as well.

Dombrowski does worry me with his history of trading away prospects.

Dodgers system is loaded.
Especially with pitching

Julio Urias top 5 prospect
Jose De Leon top 25 prospect
Grant Holmes top 50-75
Frankie Montas fringe top 100
Yadier Alvarez fringe top 100
Jharel Cotton, Zach Lee, Yaisel Sierra

Not as stacked with hitters but Bellinger, Verdugo, Calhoun, Diaz all have big potential

Yeah, letting Grienke go wasn't so bad. Urias will start the year in AAA... Deleon is a beast.

If Alex Reyes wasn't such a dumbass he could arguably be the top pitching prospect.

Watching KC VS Mets now.. Putting up Championship banner now.. I hope the Mets do well and get back to the World Series again. I see them as a playoff team for sure but not sure they can win the NL again though...

He's still right up there with Snell, DeLeon, etc. Everyone has Giolito and Urias 1,2 though

If the idiot wasn't on a 50 game suspension he would be up there at #3 pitching prospect imo. Just realized it says "the" instead of a. I know i typed a, but all well. Damn phone.

Im interested in how Matz does. Crazy after just 6 MLB regular season starts he was pitching in the World series ..If he turns out to be good and Wheeler comes back strong the Mets starting pitching will be unreal. 5 great young pitchers

Their rotation should be absolutely ridiculous.

Hoping the Dodgers have something similar next year with Kershaw, Maeda, Urias, DeLeon, Ryu/Wood
