Dodgers prospect Cody Bellinger promoted to AAA and promptly hits two HR today.

Welp season is over. Salem Sox (Devers, Kopech, Basabe,) made the yoffs and so did the Lowell Spinners (Dalbec, Chatham etc) so i guess there's still that.

At least Kopech will get some more reps in this year. Hopefully he rebounds after that fucking debacle.

Yea I think Jason Groome will get one of the Lowell starts as well.

Fuck the Mets for giving Tebow some self entitled relevance again. I enjoyed when no one was talking about him.

Since BA is posting their 2017 org rankings, I'll start posting them in here by division

Team: Surprise
Age: 20
Why He’s Here: 0-0, 0.00, 4 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 6 SO, 0 BB

The Scoop: The latest in a long line of hard-throwing Texans is continuing to show elite stuff in the AFL. Kopech, the 33rd overall pick in 2014, sits 97-99 mph and touches 101, with his 86-90 mph slider drawing whiffs one-third of the time. Oh, and batters have yet to record a hit on his 90-92 mph changeup, per Brooks Baseball. He was particularly unhittable in his most recent start, allowing one hit over four scoreless innings while striking out six. Kopech now has a 1.93 ERA with 18 strikeouts and one walk in 14 AFL innings. (KG)

It's awful. They traded away the vast majority of their prospects because they were all in on winning a WS. That's why they're shopping everyone now

Look at that, Tigers and Astros back to back... Stros system still looks decent in spite of the callups.

Also... "Astros high Class A affiliate for 2017-18 will be Carolina League Buies Creek Astros at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. Beginning in 2019, the Astros' high Class A club will move into a new ballpark in downtown Fayetteville, N.C."

Who are these dudes the Yankees got?

@TeTe @RR

Abreu I really liked. Think he'll end up a solid 3 starter and could even be a 2. He's probably 4 years away from the majors though. Guzman has potential too but I was never very excited about him honestly

Stros system is still pretty strong. Especially considering the trades and call ups like you mentioned. Need Daz Cameron to have a bounce back year
