No, what I meant was, I've literally never heard Rubio cut a promo that didn't have aggressively negative overtones. Bernie critizes Wall St., but then always comes back to "this is how we change things for the better". Rubio's message can be condensed down to "Obama/Hillary are evil, and have ruined your once-great country...derp"(applause).
His early campaigning, certainly, but he's been more willing to go negative in the last few weeks. The last debate was a pretty sharp contrast from the first - much more aggressive.
It's a more principled version of the doomsday/attacking angles taken by Trump and Cruz. Rather than get him crushed, I think it will distinguish him as a "moderate" (heavy emphasis on quotation marks, but a "moderate" who upholds all the values) which is truly ominous.
