LOL @ going after Melenia's speech. Nobody gives a flying fuck who wrote it, except for people who were already not going to vote for Trump.

How fucking desperate can the left get? There were a whole host of issues brought up last night that could be debated, and they go after the wife's speech. When Trump is sworn in, remember moments like this.

For a guy who will make up for his lack of experience by hiring competent people around him, everyone he hires appears to be a total dumbass.

Because of a speech made by his wife...

Just think about how frivolous this attack is, and then ask yourself why every complaint/attack towards Trump, valid or not, has turned into white noise that nobody pays attention to. This is so fucking petty. Like I said, there were real issues brought up last night, and all the left can muster up is some cheap attack about his wife's speech. It's utterly fucking pathetic.

His wife did a great job with that speech. As far as I know people dont actually have a problem with her, other than lying about writing it.

Trump's campaign is full of morons, this is just another example of it. You dont see the man who will make up for his lack of experience by having competent subordinates being unable to get competent subordinates as a problem? He couldnt keep his fucking logo for a week.

Do they even care about that, though? Do you think this is going to change any minds? It's a desperate, desperate attack, because CNN and the left is all out of shit to call him on. They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel, to even suggest that people should care about this.

He, a reality show celebrity with no political experience whatsoever, is a cunt hair away from the White House. I think they're doing just fine, despite making some insignificant blunders literally nobody gives a shit about.

Name one real issue that was brought up last night. I heard a lot of complaining and saber rattling. But what plan was even hinted at?

A real candidate announced his VP, and then kicked off the convention, and all we have is this.

The entire national security issue is slightly more important than Melenia Trump's speech.

Literally nobody cares. In November, when people go to booths, they're not going to be thinking about some logo, or Rick Roll joke.

Trump's strategy seems to be based on them not thinking at all. Not a terrible strategy.

Why did you come to the convention thread if all you are going to do is whine about people taking about the convention?

I am discussing it. You're just getting mad that I'm calling shit that you obviously think is important, irrelevant and insignificant.

Clearly very rustled.

What important issues got brought up at the convention that you think are so important to talk about? Benghazi? Maybe we can have another congressional inquiry.

This whole thing has been boring so far. The debates were more fun

This is the thing. The plagiarism scandal is distracting from the overall awfulness of the event. I cannot believe anyone who watched those speeches could come away denying that the whole campaign is based on white nationalism. "Make America white again" is the very clear message of the whole thing, with no plausible policy agenda (even to accomplish that unAmerican goal).

I agree. What national security policies were put forth last night to talk about?

There are dark-skinned people living in America and no one is doing anything about it!

The entire national security issue is slightly more important than Melenia Trump's speech.

Trump has stumbled and even straight out refused to answer questions about foreign policy, specifically in the middle east, and instead asserted he's the absolute best at "surrounding himself with the smartest people" when the time comes to deal with it. Any somewhat intelligent undecided voters will examine his ability to actually hire competent people in other areas at the present moment instead of waiting to see if he hires fuck ups when national security is at stake.

This is the fourth instance this year that I can think of regarding the staff he picked being epic level idiots. Was the speech itself a deal breaker? No, but there's a pattern here and it contradicts his ability to seek out geniuses and learn on the job from them on the real issues.

Ten posts ago, you asserted
there eerr a whole host of issues brought up last night that could be debated, and they go after the wife's speech.

It's almost as if you have no consistency in your reasoning or portrayal of the underlying facts, but are instead seizing every angle, including mutually contradictory positions, to bitch about the left.

Oh, and the convention is also getting attacked due to a lack of substantive policy being papered over with attacks ,http://fivethirtyeight.com/live-blog/gop-convention-day-one/ www.esquire.com/news-politics/politics/news/amp46783/tom-cotton-cleveland-rnc/
explicitly racist speakers,
http://www.msnbc.com/jose-diaz-balart/watch/outrage-grows-over-rep-king-s-comments-727808579687

poor management,

and absence of ranking officials

That you're only coming across the shallowest attacks says more about your media consumption habits than it does about the left.
