Do you really think that's what won him the election? He definitely appealed to that aspect with outrageous statements, gave him huge press too, but that's not what made blue collar voters storm the polls.

Look at his numbers with minorities, far better than anyone expected. Blue collar Latino's understand how illegals bring down wages.

Trump's focus on the working class, and it's decimation via NAFTA was flawless. Trump might be rich, but he loves the hands on blue collar employees and that genuine fondness resonates wit the people he met overy his campaign. It mainly won him the Presidency imo.
