Several states are razor close, still could go Hillary Clinton's way.
However it ends up, Imo pundits and dems were out of touch about how many people simply hate Hillary Clinton. It is as if they don't remember the 1990s, Bill was popular his wife, not so much.

You calling her a Manchurian candidate just tells me you don't actually know what the hell Manchurian candidate means. Furthermore, even if she did receive money from them through her foundation, that is not even remotely on the same level as this. That is not "funding" her (Pro Tip: She has plenty of funds.), and it sure as hell doesn't mean she's somehow under their control. I'm not even saying Trump is colluding with or supports Russia in any way. That's not what this is about. This is about Russia undermining our democracy. It's not just that they wanted Trump in the White House—they wanted to de-legitimize our government. Do you fucking get that? The United States of America is supposed to be the most powerful country in the world, and they played our elections the way we played the elections of all those shitty 3rd world countries during the Cold War.

Everything else put aside, this is an incredible thing for Trump. No doubt he needs some time alone with his wife to come to terms with the fact that he has become the President of the United States of America. I doubt he ever really considered it possible until this last year, it's not as if he has had long term political aspirations, and the chances of it working out for him, at every stage, were so low that it has to seem like a dream.

Are you basing actual protocol off a movie, FFS?

The president can most certainly call for a nuclear launch by himself. Whether the change of command is followed, is another thing altogether.
