Why company has like 100 subsidiaries even though they all perform the same function. But we have subs for a variety of reasons ranging from geography, to client contract negotiation etc...

I don't know how much we disagree. I've been thoroughly displeased with the Republicans for over a decade now and the Tea Party nonsense drove me further away. Then you had people like Grover Norquist (who can go burn in hell) holding the party hostage - but they let him do it. I wouldn't call Kasich's opinions on gay marriage or religious freedom "conservative" or very "Republican" at all, though, and those are only two issues from the debates that I remember. As for "real Republicans," the parties have shifted so much that that point has lost its meaning. The Republicans used to be the federalists and the Democrats the party of state's rights in the early part of last century. Now that has totally flip-flopped.

The Republicans have needed a change for a very long time.

All he said on Gay Marriage is that the Supreme Court's ruling is the law of he land.

I used to follow Sowell, he actually said that?

The only thing I can think that's remotely close is he'll defend Washington and Jefferson for owning slaves. He also defends the founding fathers not putting it into the constitution and Lincoln not being more aggressive with Emancipation.

But more of that has to do with how politically the South wouldn't go along with it and also hat Washington and Jefferson inherited their slaves and that just freeing them wasn't a simple act.

So working with your own premise that Trump is a "failure," I posted how Trump had owned over 500 businesses and only a small amount have declared bankruptcy.

That's insane. I'm not going to sit here and defend all his business practices but to say he's been a failure is laughable at best.
