Elections 2016 Democratic National Convention

The dems are so fucking stupid. Constantly tripping over their own 2 feet. The complete bias during the primary, the racial tone of the emails, getting hacked..... and not they are hiring DWS on thier campaign staff immediately after these fiascoes!!! It's just fucking stupid!!

I'll never vote for Trump because he's a complete lunatic and a fake but I'm going to be chocking on my vomit casting a vote for Hillary.

What I dont get is, they had a good shot to win the election right from the start, because of the current state of the GOP. And they still put all their weight behind Hillary. IMO the dems candidate most likely not to be elected because the more people see off her the more they dislike her. Also her issue with white males.
Does the Clinton machine has so much power? They are basically gambling on an election win. I mean it seems that any other reasonable candidate with sort of the same positions would have been better than Hillary come November. Or am I off on that assumption? Sanders would have been a bit off wild Card because some of his position are a bit to extreme for the US right now.

This should be an easy win and I have a feeling (as a cowboy fan I get these) they are just gonna fuck it up.

Clinton's popularity tends to be very high when she's on the job (for example, in the Senate and as Secretary of State) and low when she's campaigning. Not sure why that is--probably at least partly a gender thing. But while she was Secretary of State with ridiculously high approval ratings, she decided to run, and was seen as an extremely strong candidate in part because of those approvals, in combination with her experience and intelligence. So she had insane (and obviously unsustainable) momentum to start with. Predictably, problems arose on the way, but she still ended up winning. In part because Sanders was a pretty weak primary opponent.

At the beginning, it was not clear what a shitshow the GOP was. And yeah, the Clinton machine still has a ton of power in the Dems. There were better, younger candidates . . . especially for an election where experience etc. is a detriment. But for one reason or another, they stayed the hell away probably because they didn't want to tangle with the Clinton behemoth. Only one that really braved it was Bernie, and only because he has always been an independent, is older than Moses, and therefore had less at stake in challenging Hillary.

Makes you appreciate what Obama and his team were able to do in 2008 all the more.

Sanders didn't even acknowledge the DNC was working against him, he just turned into a Clinton shill

who says we're voting for Hillary?

Stein is currently polling higher right now than Sanders did in Feb '15. With Johnson stealing away conservative votes, a 4 way race is within possibility.

Not likely, of course. But possible. The unfavorability of Trump and Clinton is historically unmatched.

That is the worst comparison ever. A primary race got closer once the primary actually began so that means a third party candidate could narrow the gap with a main party candidate? Wrong and not comparable imo.

I can't believe she just quoted Dumbledore.

His speech already happened? Wtf
This was all detailed clearly in a cuckold porn film I saw recently. The only difference is instead of cumming, it is giving a speech, and instead of his wife, it is the Dem Convention.

Holy shit, the protests going on outside have a serious fervor to them.

I doubt we will see much msm coverage on them -- and cnn will probably gloss over the boos and hillary hate -- because, you know, ethical reporting and such.

i like when old black men yell when they talk -- i would say black churches are the most fun.

Unless the 'protest' turns into full on riots, the left will completely ignore it

It was so fitting to have had the convention gaveled in by the Mayor of Baltimore...
Ms. Stephanie "Give Them a Space to Destroy" Rawlings-Blake. Amazing
