People made fun of the speech, but the reality was his campaign had fundamental problems. It was the first real internet campaign, an as such we did not truly appreciate how different online opinion was from public opinion writ large. These days, we realize that things like internet polls might not render accurate results.

I missed the earlier events but everything I'm reading suggest that hillary will not net any new voters -- that the real winners will be Jill and Gary who will see bumps. Most Bernie voters will go Hillary -- but not all -- a significant portion is abandoning the DNC

the mistake i think both sides are making is in trying to say how great their candidate is as a person. we all know better than that shit. they are both deeply flawed human beings. so just sell us on why you are better for the country as a whole and the individual. these politicians just look like idiots when they tell us how wonderful hillary is as a human being. she is scum and we know it (trump too).

Basing it on discussions I have heard and read amongst Bernie supporters. There are still Busters. But I've read quite a few who appreciate the kudos Bernie's campaign has been shown in both ceremony and platform. It's anecdotal, sure. But I think it is indicative.
