2016-2017 NBA THREAD V11: Ainge is a terrible GM

God bless Lou Williams, but it's sure nice to see him gone.

ppl always look at his stats and think "great 6th man" but when he is on your team and you watch him day in and day out you realize he is the blackhole of blackholes and easy to shut down once you really focus on him (like in the yoffs). He goes left its a shot, right its a pass, dont bite on pump fake or bring your hands low to strip, he lives off bringing his hands thru for cheap shooting fouls.

LeGoat is doing another superb job on and off the court. He should win mvp and executive of the year. He got Korver, DWill and Bogus for nothing. That's pretty amazing.

funny that kobe wasn't able to get other guys to come play 2nd/3rd/4th fiddle to him to try to win championships

Looks like Durant got lucky. They're saying strained MCL (not ACL) and bone bruise. He'll be out most of the regular season, but that's usually just natural recovery.

Luckily they have guys like Green and Thompson that can drag them to the yoffs

First day of March and 3-1 rears its ugly head again for Warios fans.

that's what generally happens when you're unselfish.

so bern is getting credit for picking up Williams, a f'n waived player by DAL

he literally didn't have to do shit but be alive to get him there, are you guys serious?

wouldn't be surprised if he's out longer.

I wouldn't either but it seems like 8 will be the longest so he'll be available for the playoffs. Question will be how hesitant will he be whwn he comes back. If he's got it in the back of his mind it will effect his game

Hope he comes back good and love, want to see a fully rostered finals

Pretty sure Kobe got Coward, Nash, and Artest when he was relevant (played a huge role in his 5 title). CP3 was on board also but you know what happened there. Gasol also liked playing with True too.

That is exactly doing more than their own GM. Who do you want to give credit too?

Those were all moves orchestrated by Mitch not Kobe. Now the Lakers have someone who they can't even get a hold during the trade deadline, lmao

His ability to draw fouls is pretty fucking outstanding. Prefer to see the young dudes get those minutes and shots though.

oh I give him credit, or the GM, for getting Korver for Dunleavy

but signing players that were bought out/waived by another team? that takes literally zero skill what soever

Trayvon Green said:
“People tend to forget he was struggling to to get to the playoffs … then all of a sudden Ray Allen and KG showed up. Let’s not forget that,” Green said.

“Just because you were scoring points don’t mean you were carrying the team. If you couldn’t get anywhere and you couldn’t do nothing, where were you carrying them to? … Pierce had had an amazing career. He was a beast. But how far was he carrying those teams? If you weren’t carrying them that far, I guess we’re in the same boat.”

stfu already.

And no telling how out of shape he'll be in the postseason. Curry ran out of gas after two games after missing a few weeks and Durant has never been in the kind of shape that Steph is in

Lol at comparing the black mamba to Lebrons crybaby ass. Mamba never wanted help, he wanted to win on his own. Lebron begs other stars to help him because he the lacks the mentality of a mamba.
