Why didn't the Heat just sign Spencer Hawes since they're paying the same money? At least that guy has done more than Josh McRoberts and is a year younger. Does Riley have less pull than the Clippers?

I'd take it. No blockbusters but with McBab/Grunger/Morrow/Marion we essentially upgrade our outside shooting and perimeter defense.

sounds like Morrow turned them down so they went with Granger, lol.

Riley was saving the mid level to try to get Lol Deng or Ariza and Lol laughed him out of the building.
 
btw why is Melo taking so long to make a decision?
 
If I'm the Heat, I forget about rebuilding with all these old cans, and just let everyone walk and use all that cap space to simultaneously extend Max contracts to Bledsoe, Hayward, and Monroe.

If one of them gets matched, then offer like 13 mil to Parsons, and 12 Mil to Stephenson, and I think that's already enough to snatch them away...

That's not a bad team, Parsons and Stephensen for now, hope they do well enough for in two years to get Durant. Maybe with more playing time and the spotlight one of those two can develop into a superstar.

They can't because they don't have any draft picks to rebuild with. They'd essentially become the Knicks if they did that.
 
cHeat are in scramble mode right now. They can barely resign the big 3 (lmao wad is a journeyman atm) much less make any significant improvements. All the props Rat got for "signing" the big 3 have now been proven to be undeserved. The one time he actually has to make some moves he signs granger and a Lakes reject LMAOOO!

no one here cares about prospects, but yeah, he and diallo will make a nice starting front court for us in '15 if maker does indeed reclassify
