I guess BD doesn't realize that if there wasn't a salary cap or max contracts, the Lakers would probably offer him over 50 million a year.

They would have been best served to pick up Larry Brown.

Anyone would be better than Brooks. But since the thunder don't want to pay anyone who isn't working for them (same reason they won't amnesty perkins) they'll never do it.

Derrick Rose is starting to become like a creepy ex girlfriend. It's over bro, stop lurking about and trying to meddle in Chicago's new relationships. Just get the hint, stop stalking the poor franchise.

I did just see a picture he put up on twitter where he is looking healthy though.

It's economics. Is Juice worth 50m a year? The numbers say no, but you can continue to think whatever you want, Revo. His actual value is far less. There's a reason he doesn't have any offers on the table currently.

Economically speaking, he probably is worth that much. The jersey sales, ratings, (if he would actually stick with a team long term, the TV deal). The cavs practically halved in value when he left (or so I've heard, idk.)

Source: Was an economics major, and my favorite prof was a bball fan. I've discussed LeBerns real market value with a PhD in econ who loves the One True Beautiful Game.

Just because you are still struggling financially, and almost 5 years later are still making payments from paying for bottle service one night in Vegas doesn't mean everyone else is in the same situation, brah.

No, I believe BD's recession hit earlier. He couldn't even afford to chip in on the 5K bottle service.

With logic like this no wonder you couldn't afford to live in the GOAT city. Stay poor my friend.

I've heard that the Cavs value actually doubled.

Ownership probably saying offer him the few million per year we used to spend on Thabo.

What a joke. You get lucky in drafting Westbrook, Durant, Harden and Ibaka and you don't spend the money for the once in a life time shot at becoming a dynasty through the draft because you're afraid at spending a few mil into the luxury tax. Now they won't even make minor moves to try and compete in a West that keeps getting tougher. Durant and Westbrook deserve better.

Kd deserves to come to the raptors

No it's not. Passing for a big guy is a luxury, but certainly isn't a requirement to be worth a damn. It's like rebounding for a point guard. Analysts over rate players because of their ability to do ancillary skills well while disregarding the role the player is going to be doing. McBob isn't going to be a ball handler, he wasn't a ball handler last year, so predicating a decision on passing with the ball is stupid.

I think it's a decent pickup because he'll give them some physicality down low, is a good post defender and has the ability to play the stretch 4.

When hes not a primary ballhandler (as evident by his usage rating), yet still gets over 4apg, and second in the league in assists/TO ratio, thats more than a luxury, at any position. For a big, its an anomaly and certainly worth 5 mil a year.

I already mentioned his roundness, which alone is good enough for 5-6 mil a year (especially compared to who Miami's had as their other big beside Bosh). My point was that his passing Is elite for any position as a low usage player. Its fucking phenomenal for a PF. So, no of course its not a rewuired skill for a big guy. Its a near nonexistent skill nowadays hence why people rate Josh so high...

Doesn't mean much when you're living fast.

There is a reason why he has essentially been BEGGING Mami for a max deal this off season - he has run out of money. There's also a reason why he's known as LeBroke among insiders.

He's getting samsung and Nike dollars

Nike funds the family affairs

Samsung dollars fund the PEDs

So it's all good

McBob had a career year last year. He'll probably regress back to the can he was when he couldn't even get off the bench on a Magic team that won 20 games.
