Nope, but the fans don't call these players out enough for whining. Fernandez did nothing wrong except finally hit a homerun that he was excited about.

Personally I dont care what people do. If you dont want a guy celebrating, dont throw a shitty pitch. If you dont like a pitcher celebrating a strikeout or whatever, then get a hit.

I like how in the NFL nobody cares when people score touchdowns, but in baseball its the end of the world.

The Braves' sense of entitlement as a team rubs me wrong. Last night when Kimbrel was pulled (after giving up two runs and loading the bases) he got really pissy at his manager and said it was bullshit. It's like dude, turn around and look what you did before heading into the dugout to pout.

You see guys like Colon, Santana, and Fernandez having fun, and in contrast McCann and Johnson take offense to some antics. They were brought up playing the game differently, and it's pretty dumb IMO.

I think Gomez gets a bad rap to be honest. The guy plays all out all of the time, its one of those things where if you dont watch him play every day then you wont appreciate him as much or just form an opinion off him from highlights. He always runs out grounders and balls in the outfield, its not like hes lazy or doesnt hustle or anything, just having fun out there. Baseball is fun, it doesnt have to be serious and have all these "unwritten rules" all of the time. He brings a lot of energy and plays hard, offense, defense, steals whatever, his teammates love him and most teams that dont have a stick up their ass would love to have him. Gomez and Segura were the only guys who looked like they gave a shit last year when the Brewers were terrible, based on that I know hes really not how hes perceived.

Ill defend him but I wont say anything regarding someone like Braun, I dont blame people for booing him or whatever. Ill take his production though.

I wish Braun would start embracing the hate. Step out, tip the helmet to the opposing fans and then go yard.

As for McCann in that video. He's a bitch. He thinks he's the holy defender of all that is sacred in baseball.
