In the Bob Brenly days he'd routinely bury the Cubs for being terrible and was brutally honest about how the managers were doing their jobs. Same with Steve Stone. Chicago has had probably the most unbiased announce guys over the time I've watched them. The Yankees do a decent job too.
 
Glad the Dodgers have Scully. Rex Hudler was horrible as the Angels guy. Even Angels fans didn't like him.
 
lol Cole is such a pussy. Starts running his mouth at Gomez and then backs up and hides behind his teammates when he goes toward him. Obviously Gomez deserved getting ejected but the fact Cole didnt was bullshit.

Oh well, Braun besmirched Grilli in the 9th again and Davis hit the game winning HR in the 14th, good timing to hit his 1st of the year. Ill take 3 out of 4 on the road.
 
Damn. Nava has been a turd all year. Bases loaded with 1 out and Gomes pops out to the catcher and Nava K's.
 
Is anyone else sick of this "transfer rule" stuff? Seems like it comes up a few times a week now.

Yeah they need to get that under wraps quickly. I personally would have gave the out on that transfer, but that's the way they have been calling it since the replay started.

I'll never forget McCann getting in his face at the end of last year after he showed up Maholm and prevented him from crossing home plate.

I don't know, I'm somewhat new to baseball and seeing all these grown men be offended about the "integrity" of the game just makes them seem like primadonnas. They don't like when Gomez watches his homerun? Maybe they should get better and stop giving them to him. Grown ass men coming off as sensitive primadonnas. Especially McCann, that guy is the biggest one of them all. They're paid to throw a ball around, they need to stop taking themselves and this game so seriously. Gomez should be suspended for throwing punches, but that pitcher should be suspended also for instigating it.
 
Carlos Villanueva shouldn't be starting anymore.... Dude is a can. Can't wait for Arrieta to come back. He was really good at the end of last season.
 
I think Gomez gets a bad rap to be honest. The guy plays all out all of the time, its one of those things where if you dont watch him play every day then you wont appreciate him as much or just form an opinion off him from highlights. He always runs out grounders and balls in the outfield, its not like hes lazy or doesnt hustle or anything, just having fun out there. Baseball is fun, it doesnt have to be serious and have all these "unwritten rules" all of the time. He brings a lot of energy and plays hard, offense, defense, steals whatever, his teammates love him and most teams that dont have a stick up their ass would love to have him. Gomez and Segura were the only guys who looked like they gave a shit last year when the Brewers were terrible, based on that I know hes really not how hes perceived.

Ill defend him but I wont say anything regarding someone like Braun, I dont blame people for booing him or whatever. Ill take his production though.
 
Jose Fernandez should have drilled MCan and Johnson last season. I can't believe they got their jimmies rustled over a little show of emotion.
