Iran created a decent amount of chances in the second half of that match.

Argentina just doesn't have any quality creative players in midfield. Mascherano hardly gets used in midfield for Barca because his link up play is awful. Gago is meh and Di Maria is played out of position there.

Let's see Argentina play against another team that wants to play as it should. Not everyone at defense.

But yeah, most of you just see the score result or the stats. Leave that for hockey, american football or basketball. That shit doesn't work here.

For starters, I think, correct me if I'm wrong, they were 1-0 ... And had some chances before Van Persie's goal. Which, correct me again if I'm wrong, was a cross ball from middle pitch. We call those plays "3 touches goal".
Tell me if/when someone in Argentina were as alone as Van Persie in that situation in last two matches... I'll wait.

Agree. But Di Maria has been the best player from Argentina so far, IMO.

I think the Swiss might give Argentina some trouble in the final 16 if they qualify. They got a reality check against France, so they should go back to their defense strategy and park the bus. They have more quality in the attack. If they score early Argentina may be in trouble.

Time for the fun match of the night. Ghana has nothing to lose and should attack like nuts with the likes of Salomon Kalou&Andre Ayew (easily their best two strikers).

I could picture Muller getting another red card out of Muntari too :icon_lol: :cool:
