Apparently after this match their HC is going to being an adviser for Klinsmenn and the mens national team. Reason why they set up this game is because they had success getting results against Russia and played Portugal tough.

The Azerbjan coach is apparently literally starting work with the USA team right after this match. He is going to be scouting Ghana, Portugal and Germany in their pre-tournament friendlies for Jurgen and then reporting back to him.

pretty off topic. but just wanted to say that the Philippines just advanced to the Final of the AFC Challenge Cup against Palestine.

One its just cool to see my country improving as a soccer nation, for I personally think its the only thing the Philippines can really excel at sports wise if we put the effort into (not counting boxing). Gotta get over the love affair for basketball, we're too damn short

Two, if they win this tournament they get a spot in the 2015 Asian Cup. That would just be incredible to see the Philippines against the big boys.....and probably very brutal

Philippines has been progressing. I think they could be competitive if they put effort into football.

Do you guys have a rival? Vietnam, Indonesia?

Yea we have so many "filipinos" on the team, so it definitely helps to improve the quality.

I really have no idea who the rivals are, I would guess just most of the south east asian teams

Sao Paulo's average high for June is 22 C and average low is 12 C. Pretty perfect IMO.

I don't know, I just googled "Munich weather" right now and it says 14 C and 58% humidity.

Brazilian Amazon cities in the summer, ok, it can be tough. In June and July? Maybe a single day in a single city in the far north will be especially hot. But for the most part it's being greatly exaggerated.

Not sure if serious. Azerbaijan were hideous. Barely professional status.

You can start getting optimistic if they beat Turkey and Nigeria though. Those are solid squads. Especially Nigeria.
