How come ter Stegen wasn't included? Zieler seems a bit of a strange inclusion. Guess 3rd string Keeper isn't all that important but still.

Germany have ridiculous depth in the GK position, doesn't matter who they take.

were incredibly strong at gk.
you could easily include ter stegen, trapp,f

Germany's team is fuckin stacked. It's ridiculous the amount of talent they have on that team.

Surprised they didnt bother with Mario Gomez, tbh. Could of been a solid option off the bench. So they are gonna rely on old ass Klose and Muller who isnt a 9 up front throughout the whole tournament? Guess they might go the Baca route and play a false 9 with Goetze maybe, or maybe Schurrle but neither are true forwards-and Podolski has been hit or miss with Arsenal this season.

Still, very strong squad

Add South Korea to the teams that announced its final squad.

I can only recognize that kid at Sunderland and the forward that flopped at L'Arse. Aside from that...

Dat Bolton winger. I liked the look of him back when they were last in the Premiership, but then he got injured and I suppose he's struggled badly since if he's still at Bolton

yeah im split on gomez.
performance-wise he doesnt deserve it but hes the kind of striker who could come in handy during close games

Well Son Heung-min was rumored to go to Dortmund before he joined Leverkusen last summer, he seemed to be doing well in the Bundesliga so could play a pretty important role. Ki at Sunderland seems a pretty good player and the other chap who used to play for Sunderland who they almost got done for, for fielding illegally is heading to Dortmund this summer. Then the only other chap I know of is like Zer said the guy at Bolton, Chung-Yong Lee or 'Chungy' as I have learnt he is known as. My South Korean national team knowledge isn't as extensive as one would hope.

Looking at the squad I guess that means ol three lung Park has retired from the national side then? Sad times, that chap was bloody brilliant for United at the height of his powers. He fell off a cliff in his last season though, just seemed to rapidly decline. We could do with a player like that now actually.

Hasn't he basically been injured all year? Think he did his knee in last month again, as well. Not sure he was even an option.

How good is Volland?

I've got him for my Lazio team in FM and he's tidy

I'm calling it right now: either Korea or Japan will reach the quarters.

They've both been very impressive the last couple of years.

gomez and klose were both longtime injured.
in the time they were healthy klose played better though

Korea is too lightweight, and in case Japan manages to make it out of their group (not an easy task), they'll have Uruguay or Italy waiting for them.

Japan have the better odds, but it's an uphill battle.

he plays in a 2 striker system at hoffenheim, but i think he can play in the german system as the sole FW

I'm suprised Jogi didn't take Lasogga. Potentially perfect striker for Germany imo.

Wow, no Vela or Jonathan Dos Santos is huge.

Might be a short World Cup for all Concacaf teams.

Not surprising though. Vela hasnt played for mexico in years, and 2 months ago offiically announced he wasnt going to participate.

Jona tore his ACL and is injured, so how would he go

If we are lucky, 4 and out

More than likely, we go 3 and out
