Donovan was one of those players whose abilities get upgrades when playing with a NT.

A lot of that is due to the light load that hes always bared playing mls due to the ease of schedule and his stacked galaxy teams.

Hes also always been known as a quality of life guy who doesn't put the game first.
This goes all the way back to his failures at leverkusen.

Sure hes more than good enough to be a sub on this squad, but you can't risk your former #10 and captain sulking on the bench and undermining the coach.

The writing has been on the wall for a few years if with landon, even from his own words.

Not surprised about Donovan, though I would have liked to see him on the squad. Bradley is US's most important player now anyway.

Giant fuckup leaving Donovan off the squad. He's the classiest player available to wear the shirt skillwise.

Lars Bender out of the World Cup for Germany

So many people that don't regularly watch the US National Team or soccer in general are coming out of the woodwork and giving their shitty opinion on Donovan being left off. Our "fans" massively overrate him.

Wont Schweinsteiger and Khedira be the dmf's now?

See you've changed your Isco av :icon_chee

I changed mine too for the time being. Will probably change it to a Jack Wilshere one, but he'll probably be on the bench most of the time.

Yup, gotta have an av for the World Cup!

Yeah, I think Spain will do well again, but Argentina are the team to beat this time round. Let's see which Messi turns up too

They will be good but i am still not too sold on their defense.

Argentina the team to beat? I must've missed that one because i've never heard anyone say that.

Modric with a haircut. Looks like Monreal

They got the easiest route to the semi finals, and their forward line is one of the best. Their defence is the only suspect aspect of their side, but with Zabaleta, Garay and Demechelis (he's been pretty good in the second half for City) there are a few well experienced players there.
