#CPFC Pulis & Parish holding crisis talks in London. Tension between pair heightened, mainly re signings. TP could go before #AFC opener Sat

They will always be a tier 2 club until they seriously dominate (never going to happen) tier 1 would be Real , Barca , Bayern , Utd , Inter + Liverpool and Milan are falling of now though

Juve are way ahead of Inter, imo.

I know Tony was a hero last season but can you blame Palace for not putting faith in his transfer abilities? When he misses, he MISSES.

My concern with Arsenal is their spine. Have a ton of flair players but their core is still a little soft.

Keeper is fine, CB is solid enough, center of park & CF is still a major question mark though.

I don't rate City's chances of lifting the Title this year tbh, but look at their spine, for example.

Hart - Kompany - Yaya - Aguero

Having said all that I'm starting to think I may be giving Utd/LvG a little too much faith. Their current squad aren't a top3 side, like I've predicted they'll finish. No CL/Europa fixtures or not.

They still need a top class CB & better quality holding down the centre of the park.

Season Predictions

In terms of spines, I think Chelsea got the strongest

I think Ozil is going to be the most improved player. He's had a year to get used to the league, and now has Sanchez, Theo and Ramsey infront of him

Hart - Kompany - Yaya - Aguero >>>>> Courtois - Cahill - Matic - Costa

Courtois over Hart everyday.

Kompany is overrated, he's just lucky his defensive partner gets all the flak.

I'd agree with Yaya, he's a beast.

Aguero is far too injury prone now

Chelsea and City have had a great window. They went out and got what they needed.

Liverpool did but signed a lot of youth and need another striker. Arsenal and United have some holes that need filling as well.

Can't see a surprise happening in the top 2 this season as of now

Matic destroyed Yaya last season head to head.

Yaya is fantastic but Matic will be as well.

Rumours going round that Tony Pulis may quit Crystal Palace.

I know Tony was a hero last season but can you blame Palace for not putting faith in his transfer abilities? When he misses, he MISSES.

Palace were hopeless under Holloway. The job Pulis did was incredible and Palace would be stupid to part with him regardless of his history. He knows how to keep a team in the league and they need a couple of years of stability before they can start becoming more ambitious.

It depends if he's grown since the Stoke job and become a bit more ambitious. Palace played some pretty good stuff all things considered I thought. Granted I only watched them a few times towards the end but that Pool game and the Chelsea game at home were great fun.
