There's a rumour going round that the Glazers are trying to sell naming rights to Old Trafford to Nike for 500million pounds.

It is April 1st so not sure if there is much substance to it.

I heard that before today actually, doesnt make it any more true though given all the bs that floats around on a regular basis

For 500m I would rename myself anything of Sherdogs choosing.

Neville is pretty good at masking his hate and being objective. Scholes talking about Arsenal was painful to watch. Some emperor Palpatine shit.

Exactly as I saw it too, mate.

Anfield is the only untouchable Ground name left, imo.

Last "Big" English Club with strong enough remaining ties to its provincial roots. Utd sold its soul donkeys years back.

Could argue the same about Goodison Park, tbf. Except for the "Big" Club bit lol

Funny stuff

On an unrelated topic, anyone know how many locals are left holding out against dem Anfield expansion tactics?

Relatively speaking I meant. Could argue that it's held them back, tbh. Not suggesting they're above criticism.

Do you own an FC United shirt, Zer?

Outta interest what was the moment United sold their souls?

^^^ Yeah, I'm sure when Suarez is yelling at everyone in Spanish or has someone's limb in his mouth, quality managing is occurring.

As realistic as saying Spurs problems are strictly their manager.

lol @ you still thinking this season was Rogers doing. All, and I mean ALL credit goes to Suarez.

I dont like Liverpool, I dont like Rodgers, but its just crazy to think that its only down to suarez that they are cjallenging for the title.

Any Football fan with half a brain cell knows you need the whole team to play well.

How about selling your soul to the wrong demon?

Of course, Pool got dibs on that. But...you sold to the owners of a damn Floridian NFL team!

If Suarez doesn't score 30 in the league Liverpool would be sitting where United are now. Sturridge deserves a legit honorable mention. Rogers is way down the list.

I said Spurs are a class player away, not a manager.

You do realise that part of the reason Suarez has scored that many goals is because the team has played well, created chances, and won the ball back to allow him to have the chances.

They go hand in hand.

Shhh. Don't try to bring logic into the equation.

So you're saying that if Suarez and Sturridge both played for Everton or Spurs instead, in the same form, that their league positions wouldn't be switched.

I hear your point, and while a manager can wreck a club, all Rogers had to do was not completely fuck up and Pool were going places this year. All the accolades that does not make. I recon any manager in the top 10 could have coached them to that success, well except Moyes :icon_lol:

I guess I'm saying that players win matches, not coaches.
