His failure in not getting Giggs on his side is a legitimate criticism, tbf.

Fergie managed to do so with Robson & McGrath and that was key to buying him more time.

I agree. Most important/senior player, beloved by everyone at/in the club, and Moyes didn't get him on his side.

Baffling.

A German manager of Manchester United. Even as an American that seems strange.

Was prolly too busy dampening Rooney's flames lol. He was up against it from the off, tbf.

Tough act to follow.

LOL, some people on the internet think that Jose is trying to get himself sacked with the United job open now.

Well, I guess it wouldn't shock me.

I think he would admit, privately of course, that he was in over his head.

Glazers face would soon resemble a painters radio if he ever asked a gum chewing Fergies opinion on Mou taking over lol

Sir Bobby already squashed that last summer.

Nah, he needed more time. As would anyone following in such a legends footprints, tbf.

He was shocked Fergie even offered him the job. The guy was content to stay at Everton and finish 6th every year, certainly not the kind of manager required for the job.

Hopefully its a lesson learned for the club. We're no better than anyone else and if your going to hire someone based off of tradition (who is also vastly under qualified) either stick by him for longer than a year or just don't bother in the first place. Total balls up from the start.

You're having a laugh.

Intriguing situation at Manchester United with so much emotional support for Giggs as interim boss and others in Class of 92 backing him up

Oliver Holt ‏@OllieHolt22 37m
Sure Giggs will get tremendous ovation at OT on Saturday. And what happens if United win all remaining games and feelgood factor redoubles?

Oliver Holt ‏@OllieHolt22 35m
Might be difficult for Glazers to back away from idea of a Giggs, @gnev2 @fizzer18 led regime then

Oliver Holt ‏@OllieHolt22 34m
Ideal is probably that the Class of 92 gain more experience under manager like Van Gaal or Ancelotti for next few years and then take over

Oliver Holt ‏@OllieHolt22 33m
Asked Capello today if he thought there was any chance of Ancelotti taking the United job. He shook his head.

Everyone agrees Daniel Taylor is the guy who has the most 'ins' with MUFC, right?
