Team A is coming in last I tell you that right now. The amount of ego on that team is so enormous and they don't like each other except maybe Kobe & Melo. All these teams have otherworldly talents. It's gonna come down to whoever can create the best team chemistry.

I actually think team B is the worst team. Some great shooters but not a ton of defense. Team A is just built to lock you down, with the exception of Melo. Kobe, Lebron and Garnett are all-world defenders and Dwight Howard is no slouch either.

That being said, I might have to go with team D. Michael just doesn't lose.

Final opinion, Team A and Team D are extremely at the top, Team B is great shooters but not a ton of defense, and team C is missing a power forward but is the most athletic of the 3.

Team B has a terrible wing defense but Duncan as an iso defender and Kareem as the anchor is a fantastic defensive combo. Team D has the same problem, Jordan is lockdown and Robinson guards the center but Barkley and Nowitzki are going to get absolutely abused.

Team A is strong defensively but they are going to get in fights on the offense. How the fuck are Kobe and Carmelo gonna get along? When is Lebron gonna touch the ball?

This team would be unbeatable

Magic Johnson
Michael Jordan
LeBron James
Tim Duncan
Hakeem Olajuwon

Honestly, replace Magic with Payton or Lebron with Bird... or both... needs some spot up shooters if you want Hakeem and Duncan to have space to dominate.

Where is Johnson the best at on offense: the post. Where is Duncan best at on offense: the post. Where is Hakeem best at on offense: the best. Where is Jordan best at on offense: slashing to the basket, with a fair amount of post play. Where is Lebron best at on offense: slashing to the basket, with a fair amount of post play.

Think of it this way, when I walk around in Canada on any given day I will see a few Dodgers hats etc. Dodgers are a well known team, compare that to basketball though. I NEVER see Clippers jerseys ANYWHERE. Clippers as a franchise are known as life time losers (They are a good team now, don't get me wrong not trying to hate) but that is what they are known for.

They also play in a city with a GOAT franchise (Lakers). The Clippers are more along the lines of the Mets being sold in a city that has the Yankees, or the Islanders being sold when the Rangers exist.

I think they will go above what Forbes predicted because hey, it is an NBA franchise, but I doubt it will do 1.5 billion. Who knows though?

Team D
Magic Johnson
Michael Jordan
David Robinson
Charles Barkley
Dirk Nowitzki

This team is straight up nasty. Jordan and Magic were two of the greatest at their positions ever. I would be surprised if this team did not beat the other 3 teams.

If its prime 2000 Shaq, Team C should take it.

Apparently Grant Hill and Yao Ming separately are interested in buying too.

Team A with ease.

This. Team A has the greatest basketball player of all time with his trusty sidekick, Kobe. Absolute beast of a defensive team.

Paul and Wade on the same team? C'mon son.

Are you kidding me? Dwyane Wade has proven to do his best when he is acting off the ball. Don't let his world-class ISO play have you think otherwise. Chris Paul is at his best when he's facilitating. Shit. Prime Wade and Paul on the same team would be absolutely unfair.

Dwight Howard is no slouch either.

uh. 3-time DPOY, son.

Thank God we get a game soon. I started getting bored.

Agreed. People are sleeping on Team C here. On offense they've surrounded a prime Shaq with 4 excellent versatile shooters.

On defense they are sick. This is the only team that can plausibly do a full court press type defense, while at the same they have have quick athletic defenders in the half court. I think the Durant mismatch flaw this team has would be partially tempered by Shaq's presence.

The key is the 7 game series. I think Shaq would cause foul trouble generally, and eventually wear down the opposing team physically in the series if it went to 6 or 7 games.

Now if Hakeem was on one of the teams my views would change, though.

Team D by virtue of having MJ.

Sir Charles and Magic make nice backup. The Admiral and Nowitski would provide perfect outside foils as the talls.

I'd like to see this team:

1. Payton
2. Jordan
3. Pippen
4. Rodman
5. Olajuwon

The other team wouldn't score any points.

What makes the Cavs think Bern wants to move back to the middle of bumfuck Ohio? Look at Verajao. He's miserable! I doubt Bern regrets 'The Decision' enough to go through with it. He could do right by Ohio without thrusting himself into Gilbert's piecemeal rebuilding effort.

How hard can it be... Coach K gets those same players to share the ball every 4 years ;-)

Dwyane Wade is the most overrated player of all time. He's afraid to shoot (because he can't) outside of 12 feet. He only won his first title because the refs bailed him out on every drive in Game 3.

As for D-Howard being the 3-time DPOY, I don't put a lot of stock in that award. It seems that since the mid 90's, they just give it to the big man who blocks the most shots. But if you look at advanced statistics, it shows the true value of a blocked shot is the end result; i.e. blocking a shot out of bounds isn't really worth a whole lot whereas blocking it and keeping it in bounds is worth much more. I'd rather have Tim Duncan than Dwight Howard in that respect.

Instinct is to pick D, but I don't know much about basketball. Is Melo the worst out of all the players? Everytime I hear his name it's always in a negative light.

Love that team except for Rodman. He's a liability on the offensive end of the ball. I'd rather have a guy that's slightly worse defensively but can some things with the ball. 2012 Chris Bosh would be a nice pick. He's the best pick-and-roll defending power forward in the league (of all time?), and he can post up, pick and pop, hit the occasional 3, and he's the rare big man that shoots over 80% from the foul line. And he doesn't live in the lane so he doesn't clog up the middle for Jordan's drives. He's not the banger/rebounder that Rodman is, but Payton, Jordan and Pippen were all very good rebounders for their position, so that would more than make up for it.

He's not a sexy choice, but in terms of building an actual team, I think he'd be absolutely perfect.

Melo is great when playing with other great players (see the Olympics).

the greatest rap song of all time in honor of the greatest basketball player of all time

That team ends up with 1200 std's, 14 alleged rapes, and 278 illegitimate children. I doubt they would even make the playoffs.
