The limo went straight through a stop sign T intersection hit a parked car, killed two pedestrians and the limo fell into a shallow ravine. The driver didn't have the proper license and the car was a 2001 model that failed inspections, and the passengers were complaining about how much of a POS the limo was through social media.

The owner of the company was in fact an FBI informant who would pose as a radical rich Muslim and he helped foil two plots including one against a Synagogues in the Bronx, HOWEVER he became an FBI informant because he got caught taking money for hooking people up with illegal driver's license.

I thought it was the owner's father who was the FBI informant.

Did a google map search of 30 and 30a intersection in Schoharie. I used a terrain(topography) setting. Then it all made sense.

Schoharie is on the northern edge of the Catskill mountains. The valley is relatively deep, being carved out of glacial retreating and a prominent creek of the same name as the town. the section of route 30 south there has an almost 600ft drop in elevation over a mile before reaching the intersection. Take that, coupled with an overloaded vehicle, that isn't inspected, A modified vehicle at that, you/re just asking for catastrophic brake failure at a high rate of speed.

not to mention the fact that the Limo service was corrupt as %^@#.

Reporting is after the crash, screaming could be heard. I imagine the barrier wall between front and back a pile of bodies, each one smashed against another. Skulls cracked, broken necks and spines. For some it was instant and others not so much.

News reports state that the limos were in bad shape. And that the driver - who also died - complained about the poor condition of the limos. The limo was a 2001 Ford excursion. That is a pretty old limo, and the only reason to use that old a limo for that model and year is because the owner is a greedy asshole or he couldn't afford better. Owner should be held criminally liable, just like when a drink driver kills people. He deserves to be in jail for decades.

Reading a report they said the driver missed a stop sign and barreled into a parked SUV at high speed. They said the engine was pushed back into the drivers seat...so yeah, fucking scary shit and high speeds.

I would like to know what happened.

How did the driver lose control of the vehicle? Why did it crash into a parked car.

One of the passengers texted that the motor was deafeningly loud and that they would all be deaf by the time they arrived at the pub.

It was reported that the vehicle failed inspection and shouldn't have been on the road.

From the look of the crash pictures, it looks like it continued after hitting the pedestrians and vehicle until it hit an embankment. No sign of braking either apparently.
