An RAF spokeswoman added: 'We can confirm that two overseas students based at RAF Cosford have been arrested by West Mercia Police on suspicion of rape and conspiracy to commit rape.'

This is not the first time that foreign recruits training in the UK have been linked to serious offences.

MoD bosses agreed to let up to 2,000 Libyan recruits train at Bassingbourn Barracks in Cambridgeshire in 2014.

But the multi-million pound programme was abandoned after allegations of rape, drunkenness, fighting and vandalism.

The majority of the Libyan cadets - a mix of established armed forces, new recruits and former revolutionaries - were sent home in November 2014 after five of them were charged with sexual assaults and reports of ill-discipline and disorder emerged.

Local residents described finding soldiers hiding under cars, wandering the streets drunk and engaging in anti-social behaviour.

Cadets Moktar Ali Saad Mahmoud, 33, and Ibrahim Abugtila, 23, were jailed for 12 years for the rape of a drunken man in Cambridge.

But the thing is that the number of Arab cadets is very small and in their culture, they abuse and sexually assault females from powerless groups, eg: housemaids from Phillipines, SriLanka, Indonesia,Bangladesh etc.. So the sexual assault by these Gulf Arabs is not happening in a vacuum.

higher standards are expected from foreign military personel visiting a nation for training. and that reporter getting airhumped has already been discussed here.

People will just turn a blind eye and continue to think certain cultures do not have any problems with how they treat women.

And when it is finally reported they will hand wave it away with "meh small percent" or whataboutism. Amazing how people will damage control sexual assaults just because of the race of the perp. Mainstream TV news won't touch this with a barge pole either.

These stories are very difficult because on one hand it's totally reasonable to believe two muslims would rape a white girl, but almost equally as disturbing we can also reasonably believe a white girl would lie about being raped.

It's going to be interesting to see how quickly it turns from "No woman would ever lie about rape and therefore we can convict men without any proof" to "British women are racist. There is an obviously a disproportionate amount of sexual assault and rape coming from certain groups and your post here is intellectually dishonest in its attempt to portray this problem as something that is manufactured by "cherry picking".
Good job downplaying and dismissing a true and legitimate rape issue.

In Rotherham, for well over a decade, that's exactly what happened. North of 1500 girls, many of them below the age of consent, were gang raped by large groups of men of Pakistani descent. The local police and council officials knew what was going on. They did absolutely nothing to stop it. Indeed, they went out of their way to cover it up. Victims were told that no one would ever believe them. Evidence was destroyed. On several occasions, the parents of girls who were being abused were arrested by police when they tried to rescue their children.

British police and politicians are cowards. They will sacrifice vulnerable children on the alter of their careers.
