With Lennox's height and reach advantage, technique, and power; can the best version of Ali who was very fast and smart beat him?

Post-vietnam war Ali stopped a prime Foreman who I see was similar to Lewis.

Great fight, two of the best H2H HWs ever, but i feel like Lennox Lewis wins this by Ko.

Ali probably wins via decision

I don't think the height and reach advantage would really do much in that fight. Ali fought Ernie Terrell who was 6 foot 6 with an 82 in reach, and Sonny Liston who had a 84 inch reach.

I think that's probably one of the best HW fantasy match ups that can be made though. Ali vs Lewis, Frazier vs Mike Tyson, Foreman vs Holmes, ect.

Sign me up, that's my dream fight.

Lewis either UD or late stoppage, but a great tactical battle until the end.

I think this is the best fight that could be ever made at heavyweight honestly, for me I feel like Ali and Lewis are cream of the crop from all all time heavyweights. I think stylistically Ali might have the advantage head to head, even though I'd pick Lewis to beat more all time greats than Ali due to his size.

I’d have to really watch a lot of film to have a true opinion, but my gut says Lewis got this. TBH I think that when it come to who would actually win (not the same as greatness), Lewis is the best HW boxer we’ve seen.

I won’t lie, I’m super impressed with Fury, especially as he’s shown that he can do pretty much everything you can ask out of a boxer (and he’s huge), but Lewis was still huge and had crazy firepower bundled in a very sound package. It’s sad that he dropped some fights he shouldn’t have, because if not it would be hard to deny him the #1 spot.

Ali easily outpoints him.

Just curious, what all time greats would Lewis beat that Ali wouldn't?

I feel like Ali saw pretty much every style during his career. The long jab of Liston, inside fighting and brawling style of Frazier, huge power punchers like Liston, Foreman, and Shavers, tall heavyweights like Terrell, peek-a-boo style of Patterson, the real light and fast HWs like Leon Spinks, and the list goes on.

He beat 3 different Olympic gold medalists

When you combine Ali's great footwork and Lewis' plodding fighting from the outside style, this fight can only go one way! Lewis wouldn't be able to hit him. Ali by KO.
