125 needs more fighters like Su Madaerji

Not strictly finishers but I don’t think they have an abundance of finishers.

There would be even more finishers if the UFC didn't cut half the flyweight roster a while back when they were wishy washy about whether or not they'd keep the division. As is, though, the majority of the guys in the top ten at Flyweight have above a 70% finish rate. The ufc is to blame for the state of the division imo. If we still had DJ, cejudo, Horriguchi, and now fig and kape....it would be one of the most stacked divisions. The UFC shat the bed with building the division.

No, they need more guys like Malcom Gordon to behave like Sapp.

I think many of the hardcore fans look at him as a more serious threat than Cody
I’m sure some do. But Garbrandt could at least challenge Figueredo’s striking and presents much more immediate danger.

I don't know about that, especially at 125lbs. I think moreno's chin, pace, and ability to mix everything up poses more of a threat.

Flyweight has regained some much-needed life this year: Figuerido, Moreno, Royval, Mudaerji, and Kape.

It's not that, conservative Americans (MMA's largest fanbase) are weirdly insecure about body image and don't care that much for the manlets, Dana is one of them of course but if it brought money he'd happily push the divisions.
I agree but forget about pushing, he could've just let it build instead of tearing it apart.

Pro wrestling had the same exact problem years ago, while the internatinal market pushed litle guys, it is somewhat endemic.
Also BW are average sized people, while FlW are actually small. There is a big difference.
Pro Wrestling has the same problem. You think in Japan they prefer jrs over hws? The only reason pro wrestling promotions in Japan push smaller guys is because there are no good hw rookies aside from a few.
