My son hit a 35 pound squat PR today. He got 350, he went for 365 but he didn't get it. Not bad for only lifting 4 months since his last squat PR.
He had wrestling conditioning yesterday and today. I didn't think about that or I would have had him squat later in the week and he didn't think it would affect his PR attempt. I told him it does especially wrestling conditioning. He might try again for 365 on Friday. I think he can get it.

The kid hit a HUGE 40 pound bench PR tonight.
Man, he hit a 210 PR before this and it looked slow. I wasn't sure if he should go for 225 but he wanted it. Benching 225 was his goal this summer. It's a nice milestone. I'm really proud of this PR, he's not a natural presser. He's had to work really hard for every bit of progress on his bench. This was really good going into his last wrestling season. The 190 weight class kids are big, strong and athletic. But so is he! This was really good for his confidence.

Kid hit a 385 deadlift PR. +70 pound PR lol. This kid is nut, he's been doing all his deadlift sets double overhand. He has some crazy grip strength going on. He hit a 365 deadlift PR double over hand. He says it was slipping but for 385 he was a little nervous to switch his grip to over/under since he never lifts like that. I didn't want him to either. Switching form on a max attempt is a recipe for disaster. He's an athlete, he can't have a freaky bicep tear or something happen right now. He used my wrist hook gimmicks for 385.

540 was a PR. Only a 5 pound PR, though. I think I got 600 in me.
That looked easy, Rex. I think you could have done 640.

560 would of been easily enough too judging by how that moved
