No it doesnt. Are they idiots for making awful jokes? Sure. Do these guys deserve all the downfall on their heads? Yeah. Absolutely. Do they actually adore Hitler and support the nazi regime to exterminate jews, destroy the church and its influence and instill some figure as the highest power in the land? Its doubtful.
People used to be able to make these kind of distinctions and now it seems like common sense is not so common. This is exactly why theres a tendency for people on the right to argue that words have lost their meaning they're just applied whenever it feels appropriate as opposed whether its actually accurate.
Or, Trump's arrival into politics triggered the death of the euphemism. The most popular show in America regularly discussed the great replacement theory and how Spanish speakers were destroying America.
Nobody thinks these guys wear SS blacks on the weekend and dream of putting Jews in the ovens, but they don't have to be that extreme to be dangerously Nazi. The overt racism alone in these budding political activists is a serious cause for concern.
The right argues that words have no meaning because it's getting harder and harder to hide the truth.
And how can these things be called "jokes"? They felt comfortable saying these things because they were talking with like minds; they didn't get in trouble for saying them, they got in trouble for getting caught.
