Did you guys see Larkin’s fight in Bellator on Friday?

Dude was oiled up and glistening like a delicious turkey
Didn't catch it. Did they towel him off or let him stroll in there like that?

Look kong boy i get it godzilla is gonna smesh ur boy but...the question wasnt why do fighters warm up it was why do they get in a full on sweat
Ummm actually, getting to a good sweat is completely warmed up and ready to go 100% like right NOW.
Anything less than that isn't.

When I amature boxed my coach specifically required the sweat, I would never do it properly, because I was conserving my energy. He used to say it was good for the anxiety. I never had much of that, altho I was a bit afraid before every match.

So yeah, I was cheating, but I am a lazy mother fucker.

Look at this big guy DC sprinting faster than Usan Bolt

I see a lot of fighters already in a sweat by the time they make it to the cage
i know diaz and dc sprint before fights
whats the purpose behind actually sweating instead of just getting the blood flowing / heart rate up?

And for yourself, do you get itchy before you sweat?

get nice and sweaty. avoid injuries. get pumped!

it gets your body warmed up, plus if you're fighting a grappler the sweat makes you easier to hold on too

Seriously???

So basically you're asking "why do people warm up and stretch before exercise"??

Goddamnit, fuck this place.

TS has never walked farther than from the couch to his moms fridge confirmed.

How can anybody that's ever done anything remotely athletic ask such a stupid question?
