That's one of the reasons i also chuckle at the white genocide crowd, whites becoming a minority will only make whites more desirable, as it happen in most of latin America.

Whiteness is much more of a privilege in Mexico than the US. In the US it's just average, ordinary. In Mexico it correlates much more with wealth, prestige, exclusivity. Whites in the US are routinely outperformed by Asian immigrants and their descendants. Even African immigrants and their descendants are extremely well educated (not referring to African Americans and Caribbeans, but recent immigrants from Africa and their children).

Look at Rome, Greece or ancient China and then compare that to present day Africa, or indigenous regions of the Americas.

I say this as someone that's mixed race. I don't think it really bothers me to admit that my European ancestors were probably smarter people on average than my African ancestors that they enslaved. It doesn't bother me that certain groups of people like European Jews or East Asians are probably smarter than other groups within their own race. If you believe in evolution, it would be pretty hard to think that diets, climate, disease etc wouldn't effect intelligence over thousand of years. It certainly affects physical traits like height, bone structure, or skin tone.

I've never understood why this reality is so forbidden. As long as people are given the same opportunities, it shouldn't matter that some groups outperform others. There's no way to change that without handicapping, which isn't fair unless we can admit the truth instead of disguising it with excuses.

I would venture to say that I've been given as many opportunities for for being half black as I've had opportunities taken away for being half black.

I grew up in mostly white environment, so maybe I don't have a clear perspective on the subject like someone that's grown up in an area with lots of racial tension. What inevitably happens is that someone asks for proof. Someone else provides a link to some social science research supporting the claim. The first person then argues that the research isn't good, isn't on point, etc. They argue the validity of the research itself. Rather than accepting it as a valid part of the conversation, they reject it outright.

Well, that yields a pointless debate. It reduces the conversation to "I don't believe this is true, find me something that will convince me it's true but since I don't believe it's true, I already don't believe anything that claims it's true." It's circular, those people will never acknowledge any proof because, to them, the "research" is only valid if it aligns with their pre-existing belief systems.

It comes down to culture. Asians were discriminated against harshly back in the day especially in world war 2. Yet, they are the most prosperous race in our country. Why are Asians able to overcome adversity while African Americans can’t? Culture. One is disciplined in academics with usually a full family intact.
