Technically, skill wise, Reem is better than he ever was. Junior is the exact same fighter and that’s the issue. He has been completely figured out. Maybe it’s time some of you accept that better fighters show up sometimes instead of pointing everything to a “they’re past it” bullshit explanation. I bet if fedor beat them the same way at the same time, you’d be building those wins up so much.

Regarding Reem, it´s very debattable... LHW Reem was skillwise a freak, very talented technically, had all the tools but didnt use them properly (reach for instance), while HW Reem is efficient (thanks to a weaker HW generation) but not that impressive.

All the people Stipe fought at the time had low fight iq and got knocked out by a fresher chin Stipe.

He only went 2 rounds with the 1 dimensional Hunt & Ngannou. The others were R1.

Arlovski was on a 6 fight win streak and Overeem was the #2 HW in the world when he fought Stipe.

Not had pretty good stand up early in his career. That being said he was never really a power puncher.

He fought Reem towards the end of 2016, not even two years ago. The guy can't take a punch. Never could. How many times had he been knocked out before Stipe lol?

Arlovski fight was slightly over two years ago I think. Arlovski being in title contention says a lot about how bad the division was.
