Diego Sanchez, Roy Nelson, Hunt, and Condit have taken a scary amount of punishment

He took some heavy punishment in Pride. The kickboxing fights were a bad idea.

That's the problem with the shit pay back in the day. Guys kept having to fight literally to pay their rent and put food on the table.

Maybe Pride put some money in the bank, but still.

Thinking all the way back to Hunt's kickboxing days, he had wars with guys like Ernesto Hoost, Cro Cop, LeBanner, Ray Sefo etc he ate bombs even then....20 years ago. It all finally caught up to him, seeing him in his 40s getting knocked out by Junior, Werdum, Overeem and taking such a sustained beating from Miocic was hard for me to swallow.

Ya it's gotta be Hunt, he not only took a lot of shots, but he took them from the HWs and a lot of them K-1 strikers. If he wasn't a freak Samoan he'd be dead by now.

Guys like Diego took some shots, but you can't compare getting hit by manlets to getting hit by Reem, Mirko, JDS, LeBanner, Sefo, etc. The guy took two flush left shins from prime Cro Cop and continued to fight. Crazy.
