What Celebrities Have You Encountered?

I volunteer at my local comedy club in exchange for stage time so I end up getting to meet and sometimes hang out with a lot of comedians and random celebrities doing comedy tours

Bert Kriesher - Saw him last night and got to smoke with him for a bit afterwards, really cool dude.

Kevin Smith - Seemed like an alright guy, really kept his distance from most of his fans though.

Jason Mewes - Really nice but totally has that hard ex addict vibe.

Doug Benson - Got to get extremely high with him after the show, very good times.

Gilbert Gottfried - Didn't really get to do much other than shake his hand and say hi.

Val Kilmer - Couldn't really understand what he was saying cus his throat is fucked up, seemed like an odd dude.

Christopher Titus - Total dick to everyone.

Tom Arnold - His comedy was really bad, but he was nice.

Orny Adams - Super cool guy, ended up giving me a lot of advice on comedy.

Tony Hinchcliffe - Didn't really get to talk to him but I did get to watch him have a hard meltdown on stage and scream at the audience for 10 minutes, really entertaining stuff.

Met a pretty decent number of celebs when I worked for Enterprise in England and Scotland. Got to know some pretty high profile people a little bit. I think they let their guard down a bit when they are out of country.

We provided the cars for the UK portion of the first 2 Harry Potter films. Did a lot for them and I got invited to the wrap party. Pretty much met them all. I really treasure meeting Alan Rickman and Richard Harriis, as they are both dead now. Both were awesome. Robbie Coltraine and David Bradley (Who plays Finch) were also cool as fuck. Meeting Bradley back then took on additional coolness when he started playing Walder Frey on GOT. Amazing how so few make that connection.

When I tell this story everyone always asks me what it was like meeting Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. I have to tell them int was like meeting any other 11 year old kid.

Met loads of others. Some surprised me pleasantly, others unpleasantly. Morgan Freeman was a bit of a douche.

Robert Duvall and Gene Hackman were probably the best. Both really genuine and funny as fuck. I never met them together, but they knew each other really well and were basically kind of a rat pack in NY with Dustin Hoffman back is the 50's and 60's, before any were famous. Ran together, partied together, even lived together some of the time. Gene would tell stories about Robert and vive versa. Both constantly threw Dustin under the bus.

Kinda of miss that time in my life.

I worked at a bookstore a few years ago, at the time my town was getting a lot of movie attention and I’ve met a few. I helped Nicolas Cage find some books and he was really nice. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner came in and played with their kids in the children section and actually cleaned up after their children which was nice. Malin Akerman came in looking for Paulo Coelho books, she was super tiny and pretty attractive.

Chatted with Rainn Wilson at a dinner party.

Worked with Brittany Spears on doc.

My girl is friends with Keith David's wife so we hang with his family once or twice every few months.

Use to party with Miley Cyrus. She's a very chill celeb.

Shot some stuff with Jimmy Kimmel so met him and got introduced to some celebs like Ben Stiller. Sat in some meetings with Jay Leno and Al Roker.

Shot a segment with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. Friendly. Shot with Ellen who didn't seem so nice and David Spade was there cracking some bad jokes. Hung out in a green room with John Mayer who was flirting with the other guest that day.

Smoked a joint with The Game and his crew in his garage during filming once. Met Meta World Peace on the same show.

Worked with James Gunn, Nick Kroll and John Delaney on a talk show so kicked it in their green room.

Nope, stuck in Shreveport for a little bit longer. This town got big with Hollywood for a few years. I’m originally from the north shore and miss southern Louisiana, it’s almost a different state up here.
