What bothers me about Jon Jones

No dude its bullshit and should be against the rules. The only reason it isnt is bc no ones really done it. Someone's knees going to get fucked for life bc of that shit. A knee bar can do the same but you have the chance to tap. Kicking someone's knee it is just as tasteless as it gets.

Its cute how you dont realize the multiple logical fallacies of your argument.

A kneebar can wreck your knee just as bad if not worse than a kick, even if you tap. I dont think you have ever rolled, have you? By the time you feel the pain its too late.

Meanwhile, please show me the multiple fighters who have had their knees ruined by kicks to them. Go on. I'll wait. I have a lot of time tonight. Go ahead, I'm waiting.

If they are so unbelievably deadly, then why are they not used more? You think fighters dont want to win enough to justify using them?

They have been legal since the inception of the sport. Thats a long time. So again, go ahead show me all the fighters that had their careers or their mobility ruined as a direct result.

You guys are a riot. Kicking someones knee = disgraceful, unsportman conduct
Hitting someone in the brain, causing CTE that may literally cause them to become mentally impaired= JUST BLEED

Lmfao omfg dude you seriously just made my fucking week. I dont think I can find a bigger dildo than you in a pornstars closet. This was incredible douchebaggery. You must live a sad sad simple lonely life. I wish you the best man I really really do. Respond if you must i wont bother reading it.

Training in the same gym with Platinum Mike Perry and Groovy Lando. This Jon Jones kid will be just fine.

Kind of a weird way to say it, but I accept your defeat child.

lol@pretending you wont read this response. yea, I'm the sad one. not the guy that got raped with logic and decided to resort to baseless personal attacks. When you get older, you'll learn its ok to admit someone else is right and you are wrong.

Shut up you silly cunt

What I can't deal with is his cringe worthy persona. After all the shit that went down in and out of the cage he should have every reason to be a humble guy. Multiple run-ins with the law, several fuck-ups with USADA and even after reaching the top of the ladder in the sport, he's still possibly the biggest bell end in the UFC. He comes off as a phoney who's trying to hard to impress the masses.

He should thank his lucky stars that he still holds a relevant place in the MMA world.

Dude wat.

Are you really saying the kicks dont hurt physically, only mentally, and therefor should not be legal?

like seriously wat.

We should ban JABS then too. Jabs rarely if ever end fights. Its just the mental factor of worrying about your face getting cut up or getting CTE. Ban jabs.

one groin strike can take away the ability of a man to have children. literally just one. kicks to the knee on the otherhand have happened to hundreds if not thousands of fighters, thousands of times, and how many examples can you point me to where a fighter had their career ended or had difficulty walking as a result.

Show me some examples.

I'll wait.

Rampage bitched about them, like he bitches about EVERYTHING, yet despite the grave damage he speaks of.......hes still able to fight...........in his 40s, a good 10 fights removed from Jon's dEveSTAting brUTAl knEe KIckZ

You're right. Seems like there are no examples to be found of oblique kick injuries. It makes me think why does the kick then feel so dirty, and you have to admit there is a stigma around the move.

You know, I think the reason why knee injuries make me uncomfortable is that there is such a wide spectrum of possible damage caused. Knees seem to be a fucked up area where you can have weak/strong knees after surgeries for example. You can imagine a situation where you don't quite have the same step for the rest of your life, even though you don't have an injury per say, thus it remains hidden.

Do you just want to avoid unnecessary bans?

Is not the failed tests.

It’s not even his somewhat cringey switch from good guy to heel to good guy routine.

It’s the eyepokes.

I hate eye pokes. I don’t like eye pokers.

I know he isn’t the only one. I lost a lot of respect for DC after the Stipe pokefest, lost respect for Gustafson after several eye pokes as well.

I feel Jones is the most blatant about it though. He keeps his hands, fingers outstretched, at eye level of his opponent.

He is arguably the greatest fighter of all time.

That’s why it’s so frustrating he bends the rules (and fingers) to win.

I hope in the Gus-Jones fight whoever eyepokes less wins.

yup jon jones is the reason for the fingers rules now.

Don't try to veil it...It's because he's black, isn't it? :)

He's obviously a great fighter. Outside the cage though he's clearly a MASSIVE piece of shit. My HUGE issue is he pretends to be some religious saint. Like bro, you are a bad person, stop pretending.

Also he deff cheats on his fiance. When cops searched his car in that hit and run they found condoms. Wasn't he in NM when his fiance was in NY?? Also they've been together since highschool, engaged in 2013, have multiple kids. Strange they aren't married yet.

Even with roids he needs eyepokes to win against somebody above 6'2 with average striking.
He had a lot of troubles against St. Preux who had an injury and fought like a draw against Gus.

Until the refs decide to grow a pair and make deductions in this sport, the shit will just continue. One of numerous reasons it lacks legitimacy in the main stream.

he doesn't eyepoke. he keeps his fingers out... thats how he stops his opponents from getting in close. shady but a smart move IMO
