Today at New York Comic Con 2016, Valiant Entertainment revealed the first trailer for Ninjak VS The Valiant Universe, which is a six-episode series that brings Ninjak to live-action for the very first time in 2017. The series will see Ninjak running a gauntlet of Valiant’s most popular and most deadly characters.

Ninjak VS The Valiant Universe is the first project from Valiant Digital, a new division of Valiant Entertainment that was also announced at New York Comic Con. Valiant Digital will produce original content in live-action, animation and emerging media aimed specifically at the digital market.

Ninjak VS The Valiant Universe stars Michael Rowe (Arrow) as Colin King, a.k.a. Ninjak; Jason David Frank (Power Rangers) as Bloodshot; John Morrison (WWE) as the Eternal Warrior; Chantelle Barry (Entourage) as Roku; Kevin Porter (Dodgeball) as Armstrong; Ciera Foster (Two and a Half Men) as Livewire, and Derek Theler (Baby Daddy) as X-O Manowar.

Will they use same actors in the movies?

Definitely watching Ninjak vs Valiant Universe. Looks good and will expose the characters to more people than just starting with the movies. DC /Marvel have a multiverse so why not Valiant? Not sure they'll market it that way, but I doubt the actors would stay the same for the big screen adaptations. Very interested in the animated films. Hoping for X-O Manowar in the Planet Death storyline.

Grendel
Usagi Yojimbo
X
Ghost
Motorhead
Law
Madman
Concrete
Barb Wire
Titan
The Mask
Next Men
Monkey Man and O'Brien
Berserk
Blade of the Immortal
Lone Wolf and Cub
Lone Wolf in the future (or whatever that new series is called)
Hard Boiled
Martha Washington
Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot
Abe Sapien
BPRD
Baltimore
Joe Golem
The Goon
Age of Reptiles
Gon
Babe
Beasts of Burden

And... that's about all I feel like typing up right now.

They may not own all these characters, but if I was a Hollywood director looking to invest in some comic books I would be totally overwhelmed by what Dark Horse has to offer.

Bruh, no Boris The Bear? I am disappoint. Boris and Concrete literally put DH on the map.

I completely forgot this guy existed. Was the comic a good read?

In a market that was suddenly glutted with radioactive mutant martial arts critters, yes. Yes it was. Picture the movies Ted and Terminator combined.

Post #58 - First look at Jason David Frank as Bloodshot.

Post #75 - First trailer for Ninjak Vs the Valiant Universe, featuring footage of Bloodshot.

The trailer seemed to incorporate every cliche line ever used in an action flick. I'd check it out, but man that dialogue was corny.

Valiant Comics' First TV Show DR. MIRAGE Is Coming to The CW

The CW, which has six on-air series based on comic books, is looking to add to its portfolio with a drama based on the Valiant graphic novel Dr. Mirage.

The project marks DMG Entertainment (Iron Man 3, Looper, Point Break) and Valiant’s first foray into television.

Dr. Mirage centers on a female paranormal investigator who can communicate with dead souls except the one she most wants to reach — the love of her life.

Dauberman has two other films coming out next year: the sequel to Annabelle and It, both from Warner Bros.

Writer Gary Dauberman — who penned probably the most profitable film of 2014 with the horror title Annabelle (on a $5M budget it grossed $256.8M worldwide) — will write the TV adaptation and executive produce the project. CBS TV Studios is the studio.

Another paranormal show? They already have supernatural, Beauty and the Beast, and Vampire Diaries?

Dr. Mirage sound like a Dr. Strange knockoff.
