DC won't be around much longer. Said it himself.

Otherwise agree, theres some prospects coming too.

Adams is a beast, I see him one of those guys top 10 for a long time at only 26, future champ material for sure. He’ll prob get picked up off CS on 7/31

HW is shallow everywhere, MMA and in kickboxing and boxing aswell. But then there's some specialists and some fighters that can mix it up there. Lightweight sucks the most. Bunch of one dimensional fighters and brawlers with no striking defense.
 
Certainly not "stronger than ever." Not even close. But the arrival of Blaydes, Ngannou, and Volkov is a great development for the division.

Sosnovskiy looked pretty bad in his debut. He gassed out hard and the only reason he won is because the referee stood them up while Godbeer was on top of him. Without that standup, it's questionable whether Sosnosvskiy would have won the fight.
 
It's about time. The last time HW was this strong was like 2009 or some shit.
 
Not as great as what PRIDE had, but this is probably the best UFC HW division they've ever had since Zuffa bought them out.

Would like to see them sign some more guys next year tho.
 
It's better than it's been in recent years, but it's still one of the weakest UFC divisions.
 
Stipe may lose to DC and DC soon retire.
Ngannou may lose to Lewis.
Lesnar/Jones not happening anytime soon.
Yes the HW division has some juice with new talent emerging but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.

Stipe is a good champ but the record defenders was like 2 before him it's not a huge deal tbh.

Ngannou has the ground game of butterbean at the moment,terrifying striker yadayadayada he's not a complete fighter.Blaydes is probably the best of the prospects good standup and wrestling but not proven yet.Volkov is good but was sent packing from bellator for a reason,He is easily flustered and out grappled by pressure wrestlers and we will see what happened to him in bellator in the UFC soon.

Dc returning to HW is merely because LHW is stale and the only way to promote DC as anything but paper champ they have him an opportunity at HW where contenders are still being figured out.

Blagoi Ivanov is a great fighter definitely happy to see him out of that third rate org.

Lesnar fighting means fucking nothing it's a one off publicity stunt the guys a fucking cheat and last time the UFC helped him cheat......having him fight another dirty fucking cheat tbh I couldn't care less....but Jones won't be cleared anyway.

Justin Ledet is very good too, undefeated and has very crisp hands
