No, failing that means in case of X not happening then Y does as an alternative. So if Woodley again fails to get Nate or GSP then he has the RDA/Covington winner to unify the belts.

plus usman had to cheat a ton to stay on his feet.

That wasn't a takedown in most scoring systems of grappling. Zero control and he bounced back up immediately. I'd be shocked if they counted it a TD
