Trump expert on violence: beware of evildoers; lethal force leads to the best sex

"according to a report on a class published by Mother Jones"

So you don't believe the least crazy statement attributed to him? Is that what you're saying?

the entire report on his class, and everything said therein, is published by mother jones. mother jones is a not a credible source. so that part of the story is out for me.

What about the far crazier statements he made from the Washington Post?

Anyways, this guy is part of Trump's panel trying to convince America we have a video game problem and not a gun problem.

America does have a video game problem but it also has a ton of other problems so taking away one problem isn't going to solve the bigger problem. Just like putting a band-aid on a wound isn't going to cure a disease. So no matter how much you gun grabber "liberals" go after guns you're still going to look like stupid hypocrites when you ignore your own hypo critic stance on violence.

the washington post article has some misleading parts in it, but more strangely, it gives what is probably the real discussion to be had and doesn't focus on it.

"Grossman and Glennon teach the most popular of these classes, but they have competitors. When it comes to teaching cops how to escalate, how to see the world as their enemy and how to find the courage to kill more people, more often, there’s no shortage of options. (The syllabus for one of these courses includes a page of Bible verses relating to when it’s moral and just to kill.) It’s part and parcel with the pseudoscience churned out by William Lewinski at the Force Science Institute in Minnesota, who also preaches that cops should learn to become more lethal (and will testify in court for any cop who takes his advice). I’ve spoken to more than a few sheriffs and police chiefs who want no part of this philosophy, but who also say they can’t really control what their officers do on their own time."

now instead of a lone crazy man, what's really going on is a for profit industry of pushing this type of thought.

so is this one dude crazy? or is he playing a part for profit like our politicians and pundits. as it is with them, to the worsening of our problems.

That's fucking terrifying. Thanks for posting that.

Pretty much every other country has the same video games, yet much less gun violence, gee I wonder why? Perhaps ease of access to guns in this country?

It's a common misconception that guns are involved in most shootings. NRA studies have shown that very few guns are actually used in shootings.

That's the problem with these news sites.

The article you saw made the important part all about linking this to Trump. Forget the real problem, how can we roast Trump over this. And we saw the right leaning asshole sites pull this same shit on Obama on every story.

Can't get so fixated on the president that important stuff slips by you. Can't even trust "news" sites.

Do you really want me to sit here and explain the obvious ? Ok sure why not

This country was founded on violence. This system is dedicated to violence in fact violence in this system is the supreme authority. Now no matter what you do you can't get rid of that problem because that problem is a reality. Some kid is always going to realize that he can dish out violence to try to solve his inner problem and somehow twist it into justice. That's always going to exist because that's the fucking twisted logic which is the reality of the system in which we live in. That this whole country is backed by violence and if it didn't have violence to back it then it would cease to exist.

Now you liberals are living in that fucking system and at the same time you want to create a little bubble where you can magically ignore that reality that foundation which keeps your pansy asses alive. You want take guns out of the equation for the civil man because some uncivil man decides to do wrong with violence. This is a slippery slope down to nowhere land it will solve absolutely nothing because the bigger problem is always going to exist which is violence is granted supreme authority in this system which exists in America. There is no greater punishment than death thus there is no greater authority than those who dish out death.

Which is evident in the way that the Justice system in America operates on a daily basis.

That doesn't make any sense. The story in the OP is clearly about crazy things a Trump advisor has said. Police trained to use lethal violence is a totally different issue and which has obviously been written about because you just quoted it.

How would the OP's article about Trump's crazy advisor need to be rewritten to garner your satisfaction?

Why are other countries who were founded on violence less shooty?

Where did video games go in your rant?

What is the liberal hypocrisy towards violence?

How does the American justice system lead to all these shootings?

Why are you such a moron ? is a better question to ask

instead of presenting any arguments he keeps asking one dumb question after another

piss off troll

Where do they think this is going to end? A rating system? We already have that. Laws against selling violent games to minors? Minors aren't buying their own games for the most part, their parents are. Outright banning the development and/or sale of "Rated M" games? Well, I hope not.
