TMZ Sports: Woodley called the UFC out for setting a bad example for upcoming fighters and kids

While a boring response he’s telling the truth . Its a new age where people think it’s cool to troll . Even if u trolling you can still face consequences. Most normal civilians are relaxed people , but when u go around talking shit (Colby) don’t be surprised if u get smacked in the mouth . Not saying violence cool but it just seems in style to disrepect people. If you can’t afford security don’t go around being an asshole or racist.

Woodley is 100% right. He's not even hating, he's just telling it as it is.

Dana and McGregor have turned what should be a real sport into WWE. You have idiots like Covington following suit, because they see the formula gets rewarded.
Yea there's a reason why....casuals buy ppvs. UFC is a business and the wwe antics make money.

Sorry mma is sports entertainment.

That interview came out before the Nurmy-Mcgregor fight was announced. Is Tyrone saying Mcgregor got off without hard time because he's rich and famous? Cian Cowley(Who isn't rich or famous) - the guy that tossed the garbage can that broke out the front window of the bus - got the same sentence. The UFC couldn't book a fight from April till the end of July(Mcgregor's sentencing) effectively putting him on 4 months suspension. Cian Cowley fought June 9th, 2018, his fight delaying the first hearing. Mayweather had his prison sentence delayed (for beating the mother of his children) so he could fight Cotto on Cinco de Mayo. Mayweather - The upstanding citizen and role model - that Woodley volunteered to train to fight Mcgregor in mma.

The scummy thing about the Conor bus incident is not that theyre using it (everyone knew that was happening), but the fact that UFC obviously orchestrated it to build the Khabib fight, but it got out of hand. UFC let them in the arena, had cameras ready but didnt tell the fighters and staff on the bus, and didnt account for coke-raging Conor to throw objects.

Now wrong, but he says this after supporting a guy getting far more coverage who has been handed everything in life disrespecting the flag, making pro-communist statements and wearing clothing portraying the police as pigs? Doesn't compute.

Yeah. Very impressed with his critique. Level headed and articulate. Criticized the actions not the actors. Textbook.

This is from July. I wonder what reaction this exact same vid would get if posted back then?

You can get an idea just from reading the Youtube comments:

Theres truth in this.

Camera's perfectly placed for the incident, that just doesn't happen.

Didn’t listen but I got the picture, if you look back at my history you will see .....The money has ruined what was once a great sport based on skill and tradition...

Sure there are always going to be assholes, even in the old days, but know being an asshole is the standard....it’s promoted and rewarded,,shame.

Athletes & celebrities of all kinds should not be looked at as role models. If a kid looks at Conor McGregor as a role model I would question how good of parents the kid has.

hmm funny i was thinking yesterday how martial arts is supposed to be about discipline and respect.

sure this is cage fighting, but bottom line is you dont do shit like that and promote it.

but then again this is amerikkka

Woodley's right in a sense, but MMA isn't MMA without crazy characters and larger than life personalities. If it was a bunch of guys like Wonderboy and Sage saying yes sir and no sir, it would be no fun.

Yup, well it needs both types to mix things up and balance each other, just like its pro wrestling predecessor.

Woodley basically said the UFC set a bad example for upcoming fighters and kids by rewarding Conor's bus attack with promo, showing the attack to make him appear like a larger than life "mobster", and that the UFC need to get back to the sport of Mixed Martial Art:

Do you agree or disagree with Woodley?

Disgrace to mankind? How about your mom fucking so much she has 13 kids, and has to go on all 8 types of government assistance to support them? thats pretty disgraceful.
And you and your kids can thank "white america" (your term) for financially carrying/supporting a woman that doesnt have sense enough not to have 13 kids she cant support

He's absolutely correct. When you reward crybabies who throw tantrums and dollys, you are 100% sending out the wrong message.

Drama sells. More news at 11.

If you haven’t seen the backstage footage of Woodley and Connor when they had an “altercation,” Woodley is 100% professional while Connor acts like a teenager trying to act hard, puffing his chest out.

I was amazed by Woodley’s demeanor. Class act. Not a lot of us have that kind of discipline.

Everyone knows the real reason why Woodley is so bitter about Conor.

Conor literally said nothing when they were face to face backstage at 205 before hiding behind security and causing a scene.

<DisgustingHHH>

Why would Tyron be mad about the Wolf Tickets that Conor sells?

PRDE had a lot of these crazy characters and larger than life personalities (e.g. Charles "Crazy Horse" Bennett, Wanderlei, Rampage, guys from Chute Boxe and their feuds, etc.).

There is a difference between reality tv show trashiness (e.g. Colby) and crazy sport characters (e.g. Mike Tyson).

Talking shit about your employer, not doing what they want and then pulling the racecard when theyre not happy with you, also sets a pretty bad example for kids and other fighters.
