The most important man in MMA by a mile!

The fuck is up with these Dana love threads?
Did he die?

Im sure we all have sumn bad to say about the man, but hes rich as fuck and won the game

Not unlike thanking John Hinkley Jr. for improving executive security.

Meanwhile hundreds of fighters risk life and limb to take home a few G's in show-win-Reebok money.

But who cares about those fuckers anyway.

He pitched it to the Fertittas and THEY made the sport what it is today. Without their money the UFC would have died an untimely death. ;)

Yup and all you shitbirds do nothing but hate him.

Did Dana have a secret shill meeting and send a few of you out in the digital world to publicly praise him?

Fugg off w this nonsense

If Dana hadn't been there, mma would be a much bigger sport.

I can't prove it but neither can you prove the opposite. This is all speculation.

Really? So if you don't attribute the success of the UFC for the most part to Dana, then what do you see as the instrument of it's huge success? - (genuine question, not being a dick just interested in your thoughts)

The biggest factor in the success of the UFC or any MMA organization is the fighters themselves.

You do realize fighting is a chosen profession right? Nobody is forcing anyone to fight. Fighters want that exposure at any cost.

Thats why i really admire the fighters the fight on side and hold down some other profession at the same time. These guys were guided well in life.

And as far as the UFC the caliber fighter is/should be high level but it takes zero prior skill, training, or education to become a "pro fighter". Any ol sherdogger can call a local promoter, throw thier name in the hat, fill out a form, pass a simple physical, and BAM, youre UFC bound bro. Thats why these dudes aint getting cheddar.

That's exactly why there's a thriving scrub circuit and the UFC is full of D and F level athletes.

Good call.
