The Cheesecake Factory

One of the best places to take a date. Not expensive, lots and lots of drinks and desserts. Easy menu with something for everyone. Tasty, hearty food.

If your date is a dumb chick she'll think she's going to a fancy restaurant, so you earn extra points on that too! :D

It's a good place to go if everyone wants a different style of food and you want a lot of food for a decent price. It's not the worst thing out there. I never get their cheesecake though.

Where do you live where fine dining is the price of the Cheesecake Factory?
You need to look around. Every city has them. They're usually old family places from ~ the 1970s that don't advertise as fine dining but their standards are just as high. And unlike every place else, they never dropped the standards like Pizza Hut did. Usually ~$15-$25 a meal. Usually ethnic focused like Italian, Chinese, whatever. Family run places that are cheap and have high standards.

The Cheesecake Factory is the number one casual dining establishment in the country in my opinion. There’s nowhere else in the world where you can enjoy a Mexican appetizer, an Italian entree, an Asian dish or an American classic. And you can’t forget about the booze-filled milkshake and the best cheesecake ever. There’s a little something for everyone.

call me weird or picky but i would not go to cheesecake factory to have mexican, italian, or asian dishes simply because i doubt it's authenticity.

hell, i doubt even the authenticity of some mexican and italian places as i can see non-mexicans/italians preparing the dishes. a lot of japanese/sushi places are owned by taiwanese/korean/chinese which is ok as there are regional similarities.

Cheesecake Factory is a snapshot of why Americans are a bunch of fat fucks with no taste. Having said that the Cajun/Louisiana Pasta is a guilty pleasure.

the cheesecake factory is popular because it's the best restaurant chain in the country that can accommodate large families with every type of food imaginable, with even booze for the guys. the food is over-processed and not very good for you, but hey, you can't have everything in a restaurant. it does the most for the most amount of people.

I went for the first time when I was in Pittsburgh last month.

The variety was interesting, but the food itself very underwhelming. No one at my table of 10+ people came out very impressed tbh.

Talk to me about those Applebees Dollaritas, now there's a place I would go back to lol.

at least their cheesecakes deliver. really damn good.

I honestly don't think any of those places exist near me.

Sorry, dude but the one's I'm talking about are not high end in the least. They are the family run, local restaurants. Just because I don't like mass produced, cookie cutter national chains doesn't make me some hipster douche. I like to support small, local businesses and their food gives me a better idea of local fare than something I can get on the opposite coast.

Forget the name of the place in Vegas I went to but I looked for something away from the casino's. It was some sort of tapas place as I remember and it was pretty good. Maybe not the best but it was at least as break from the casino crowd.
most local restaurants still get their stuff from us foods and sysco. yet the vast majority of people who hate the chains will talk glowingly about places that order from there

Cheesecake is good.
John Steinbeck, novels have less pages than the menu.
The Cajun Pasta is good. The rest I have eaten there is a better version of Chili's or Fridays.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but The Cheesecake Factory is notoriously outlandish for food wait times.

Appetizers = 20 minutes
Salads or Desserts = 30 minutes
Main Course = 60 minutes
Wait times to get a table on a friday night = 2-5 Hours

These wait times are very common among Cheesecake factory restaurants even if the restaurant is half empty.

Unsure what you're trying to say here. It's not that they buy from broadliners it's what they buy.
