Thanks McGregor, we now know the skill difference between boxers and MMA fighters

Lets have him fight Floyd in a cage, and watch Floyd get strangled in under a minute.

why do people keep dropping this line, ive never seen Conor strangle a man in the UFC, I did see him get strangled. Conors specialty is his stand up up, and the most deadly part up of his stand up are his hands. People make it seem like Conor is an all around UFC fighter, with great wrestling, and a BJJ black belt.

Cardio difference especially. Which is weird because wrestling is WAY WAY WAY WAY more intense in terms of cardio. Maybe at the elite level it's less cardio intensive as it becomes more technique-based than strength-based?
Or maybe because Conor took lots of damage in the fight that no one wants to admit to... He took lots of body shots starting in round 3, which added up, then ate lots of head shots in 7/8/9

Ya, well let's have a cage fighter come at a guy with a gun and get shot in under a second.

Exactly in a boxing ring... Seriously just fuck off back to your hole you negative fuck.

So how do you think Conor would fare in JWP's Caged Muay Thai promotion then with 4oz gloves?

Maybe the cage and 4oz gloves would allow him to beat a Thai under MT rules in a cage, considering Pornsaneh lost that fight against the Australian above.

Big Conor fan but not sure how he'd fare against a hard leg kicker like Pornsaneh though...Conor eats a few of these and I don't think he's so flowy anymore:

Lol...you don't think Conor could take Floyd's back and choke him out? He trains with Gunnar, who is a Renzo black belt but couldn't choke Floyd out for some reason.

Bob Sapp beat Ernesto Hoost twice lol.

Fedor raped Semmy Schilt

Cro Cop was headlock KOd by Gonzaga, a BJJ guy

Alistair Overeem, a K1 champ was front kick KOd by Travis Browne, a failed college basketball player

And Conor McRunner was submitted by Nate Diaz. A street fighter from Stockton.

It's not grappling it's conor. Rogan said that conor doesn't really like to run.

That and Connor is looking for gimmicky conditioning methods like f.a.s.t training or ido portal method.

Now those programs do have their merits but it seems like conor doesn't really like to embrace the grind of conditioning that wrestlers embrace.

Sure but in dominant position you get to rest a bit in wrestling. Using the same movement over and over while the momentum is against you will cause anyone to hit a wall.

It's laughable that it took the McGregor/Mayweather fight for you to realize the difference. But I understand that most casual can't tell the difference between a hook and a straight.
Hook(wand) straight (Anderson)

It eats at your muscle endurance not so much cardio, the wrestling not the boxing I mean.

If you want Connor to look like prime Lebanner, Maia, Werdum etc. Put him in a cage with Mayweather. Low kicks, high kicks to clinch to take down to choke out. We know this. Floyd knows this. Even if UFC offered Floyd 200 million to do it. He wouldnt.

@Andy Anderson is still mad that he is Conor's bastard child.

Hate your mother for spreading her legs for him.

Conor has a BJJ black belt, and not an accomplished black belt either. He as average offensive wrestling, below average TDD. Even then, all this is overkill when it comes to being skilled enough to beat Floyd in the octagon.

Are they gonna grapple D1 wrestlers and abu dhabi champs too? I mean, its MMA so of course their skills wont be as good in every area.
D1 wrestlers have actually done really well in abu dhabi lol. You don't have to tap someone to avoid being tapped.

Conor has a black belt in the same way I have a brown belt ....

Why would Floyd ever want to do an mma match? Especially when he is tiny compared to Conor?

Besides, Conor persued a boxing match against Floyd and there were enough dweebs who thought Conor could knock anyone out, that Floyd saw an opportunity to make easy bank and get to 50-0 without taking a risk. He was correct and this showed in his uncharacteristic approach in the fight.

Floyd gave Conor the biggest red panty night for any mma fighter ever.

It's different types of cardio, Floyd knows how to manage his energy in a boxing match.

How long you think Floyd would last grappling? He'd be done in 5 minutes.

I hope he can challenge some Muay Thai champions to show us how bad MMA fighers' kicks, kness, clinch and elbows are. I am sure it will improve MMA fighters striking game a lot in the long run
Yep we sure do
a 0-0 MMA fighter can take the best pfp boxer of our era to the 10th round. Must suck to think that lFoyd was training his whole life only on boxing and he took so long to win.
